Answer:	The NVR by default connects to the WiFi cameras over a different private network (172.xx.xx.xx) and I suspect it uses a good deal of bandwidth. So the ideal setup is a wired connection from the NVR to your router/modem. But if you hardwired the cameras, I don't see why you couldn't connect the NVR over WiFi to the router.

Question:	Can it record sound
Answer:	You are able to view this on the Samsungsmartcam.com website. That is the only way you will be able to view this remotely. Other than using your mobile app.
Question:	What happens if the SD card runs out of room? Will it "start over?" or will it just stop recording
Answer:	I know nothing about that baby camera but, I had these cameras going on 3 yrs now and had no issues.
Question:	Anyone get this working with Samsung Smarthings
Answer:	I’m using the new app and it works fine with non pan & tilt as well as pan & tilt. So far no issues and no problem.
Question:	Can you turn it on and off via your smartphone app? I don't want it on when I or someone I know is at home. I only want it on when the house is empty
Answer:	Yes, it will work. I do use one camera to look outdoors. The only problem is the night mode, at night you will get the glass reflection. Just leave camera in day mode, the flood lights will give you plenty of light.

Question:	Does this cam system have any sort of recording of what it is seeing? Perhaps the app records
Answer:	You can use either the included POE power injector or a POE switch. The Ring Video Doorbell Elite supports both the IEEE 802.3af (PoE) or 802.3at (PoE+) standards so ensure that your switch is capable of using either one. Also, if you are using a POE switch, look at the switch's rated POE wattage especially if you are wiring in multiple POE devices. This is to ensure that the wattage totals of the POE devices do not exceed the switch's POE wattage rating.
Question:	How many cameras can you have in one system
Answer:	I have a ring floodlight and I’m so pleased with it, I want to put the doorbell in. I have a NuTone intercom system with chime that is not compatible with the Ring Pro but I found a self help video that told me how to install a 24vac relay and a 24vac transformer to make it work with the intercom chime. I was all set and waiting for the first real deal on the Pro then I find out about the elite. Since it is PoE, I suspect it should operate the NuTone chime without the modification as it doesnt draw the power like the Pro from the chime leads. Unfortunately my NuTone wiring wasn’t Cat5 but I’ll able to run it to my router without too much hassle.
