Answer:	the description for these says 34-37dB in some places, then just 37 in others. The "37" is probably only at certain frequencies, whereas the average noise reduction across all frequencies could be anywhere between 34 and 37dB. NRR is a sneaky average rating that companies can report without saying much about the specific properties of the hearing protection.

Answer:	Yes, you can choose from multiple different chimes per sensor. Optionally you can also set the location so when it chimes it will speak the location of the sensor that went off. (eg: "Master Bedroom Window")

Answer:	Only with paid monitoring.
Question:	Does this unit communicate with its sensors through my home wifi network
Answer:	Yes it does, as long as you have a fairly basic wireless router that is connected to your ISP. I have a powerful firewall and it prevented the unit from communicating with the internet.
Question:	If not using the adt services, what kind of alert does it send for self monitoring? sms? mail or ip call? can you arm and disarm the system remotely
Answer:	I have SMS and email alerts. I have not looked into IP calling and you can arm and disarm the system remotely. If you are replacing an existing SmartThings Hub, you will need to recreate all customization (Routines, Room, Scenes), you will also need to exclude all your devices from the old hub so you can add them to then new hub. Only ADT sensor will work for monitoring your house. If you have old motion/entry sensors they will not trigger an ADT alert and I have lost the ability to trigger an SMS from these old sensors as well. Additionally, there is now a hard copy activation code that you receive that you need to keep if you plan on adding additional users. I hope that helps. I am satisfied with they hub without ADT monitoring, but it was a lot of work (10 hours) to have the system in an acceptable state.

Answer:	A qualified "yes". It can be integrated with alerts from Smartthings so that the camera starts recording. However motion alerts from the camera do not communicate back to the Smarthome monitor status screen. The camera shows up as a device on Smartthings and has a app that views the current video stream. The integration is very limited and expected a lot more integration from two Samsung products.
Question:	How much Cameras comes in the package
Answer:	Not sure - if you put a microSD card in, it has a really cool motion detection and record feature. Basically, it will (by default) take a 1 minute video if motion is detected and the camera is armed (optionally can be sound triggered) to the card and overwrite oldest if card gets full. You control the hot zones for motion with simple finger swipes on your mobile device (really cool feature) as well as motion sensitivity and whether or not you would like a notification sent to your phone. The only issue I have had is playback when not on my network (as in I am away form home) - I can watch live, but have not yet been able to playback the 1minute videos when I am alerted and remote - which lessens the viability of this feature

Answer:	I do not consider the tracking noise this camera makes 'low level'. It is loud & very annoying. I bought three & they're all going back. My Canary cams may not tilt & track but they have a much wider field of view & are silent.

Answer:	Yes, there's no pairing of devices. It connects via the internet via Samsung server. We use 2 iPads and 2 phones to access our camera

Answer:	On the home screen of the app (upper right corner), there is either an icon of a lock, open lock or 3 circles over laying each other. Touch that and you will see a drop down list of the 3 options. Manual, Armed, or Disarmed. There is also an event scheduler, in the new model. Hope that helps.

It was a bit harder for me to find out how to work the Samsung system for playback and viewing from anywhere, but it worked great once I figured it out. And these cameras all went right into both my systems and worked fantastic right out of the box.

Question:	Will this smoke detector work with my other smoke alarms that are wired together
Answer:	Based on my experience installing smoke detectors and from some internet searching I would say yes they will work with existing smoke detectors. A smoke detector is basically just a light source inside the box that once smoke prevents the source from detecting the light it will sound the alarm. Answer:	Have 5 placed outside, 3 most active get 15-25 Alerts a day. Other 2, only 3-5 a day. After 4 months 58-82% shown on battery life of 5 camera. Thought battery would discharge faster from some reviews, so got couple spares. Now just waiting to see when get below 30%, then will switch out.
