Answer:	Yes; looking at the face of the camera, you'll see a little hole at the top for the microphone, and the big rectangle in the middle for the lens area. At the bottom, there are two hidden IR LEDs visible at nighttime as dim red dots when looking directly at the camera.
Question:	For mounting outside on the side of a concrete wall, do i need an extra mount?, if so, which one please (camera ip5m-t1179ew-28mm

Answer:	Use the flasher setting. There will be 3 sets of lines in this setting. The line at the top will be the surface. The lines at the bottom will be the lake bottom. The lines in between will be the lure. As you move it with the rod you will see the line move in sequence with your movements. All the other ones moving will be fish. Now keep in mind there could be thick lines thin lines or several ones of different colors depending on the density or strength of signal picked up. Check out youtube there are videos for this specific set up.

Question:	Can you set a time period when motion detection is active? For example only after office hours
Answer:	There is an option to define scheduled recording per day. I am not sure if it is related to motion detection (might be, I never tested it). Check with customer support, they are responsive.
Question:	Can the IR lights be turned off on this camera
Answer:	Hello, yes, if you use the camera alone, you could turn it off via Setting>Infrared Light.
Question:	If your camera is recording 24/7 to the nvr, what is the microsd card recording--just the motion events
Answer:	While the NVR is recording, the microSD will not be needed, however, during playback of events only the cameras with microSD (or battery powered) will be able to fast forward through video (2x-16x). This may not seem like a big deal, but when you need to find an event, it's a HUGE timesaver.
Question:	how do you install it
Answer:	Physically speaking, the camera should be mounted to a solid surface. That surface can be vertical or horizontal. Technically speaking, you will need to have CAT5E or CAT6 ethernet installed for all wired versions of IP cameras. This isn't necessarily an easy task if you want it done properly. This version has an RJ45 connection, A/C power adapter connection, and a reset button. As for my installation, I ran wires from a 16-port Power over Ethernet switch located next to my Internet router in the basement inside the channel of the main steel support beam, then to each of the four corners of my home. I then carefully pulled a portion of the siding away from the exterior wall to drill a hole then fished each wire through that hole and then behind the outside channel/corner of the siding up to the 2nd floor. I then mounted each camera on the soffit using 8-star wood screws. This approach helped me to eliminate the need to hire someone to fish wires through my walls, which isn't cheap! You also need the know-how and tools to terminate the ends of each network cable run. As for me, I am a huge fan of EZ-RJ45 connectors. Platinum Connect CAT5e connectors (100 pack) have a wiring diagram printed on the side of the plastic container, but essentially I use the 568B wire organizaton pattern (with the release tab of the clear plastic connector facing downward, then Orange/White, Orange, Green/White, Blue, Blue/White, Green, Brown/White, Brown). I should mention that if you are able to get your wiring through the walls from wherever your central networking termination point might be (mine being the basement) and can pull them through the attic, you could drill a 1/4 hole to pull the networking cable through vs. the approach I took. I am also exploring the use of powerline network adapters, which depending on the configuration of your home, could be a better option. I have yet to try the wireless version of IP cameras simply because I am skeptical they will likely experience jitter, frame-freezes, or poor-quality in general. I currently have 6 of these cameras and love them! The perform excellent both during the day and evening - with or without lighting/illumination from other sources (porch lights, the moon). As for my recording setup, I do have Blueiris, but have recently abandoned it due to very high CPU resource utilization and the persistent solution pitched to those who have cameras to reduce the FPS for their cameras to 15 or less. This, in my book, is not an acceptable solution given that 5MP cameras - this one in particular - delivers exceptional performance and quality. For example, I have the settings of all of my cameras as high as they can go and using Reolink's windows software client my 4th generation Intel i3 barely reaches 25% utilization. In stark contrast, Blueiris (a CPU hog) was persistently brought to its knees! Last but not least, unlike Blueiris which records in a proprietary BVR file format, the Reolink client software records in the MP4, a universally standardized file format. A for saving recordings, I have a 4TB WD Purple 3.5" HDD, which works like a charm! Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck with your project.
