Question: I have a music recording on my computer - can I transfer it to the module
Answer: Yes you can if the file is a .wav format or you can change it to that. The module audio quality will be much poorer than what you'd get from a computer speaker and the length of the recording is limited to a predetermined amount of time, but otherwise the transfer is possible. A USB programming stick comes with the module to make the transfer possible. You may also find the volume is limited - increasing the volume of the .wav file recording may be able to help but can also cause distortion if over done.

Answer: I don't believe so. I believe it is just recordable. It did do all of the music I recorded for my son's birthday card and it sounded amazing.

Answer: There is a slot in the mounting surface that allows you to mount it flush and run the cable through to the outside. There is a 6-8 inch pigtail that has a female RJ45 jack on it that you could plug your network cable into once it's outside of the camera. It comes with a nice weather tight cover for this connection. It should be ok to mount it this way outside.
