Answer:	Sorry this is so late, but hopefully this will help. As far as stability is concerned, this tripod won't let you down. However, for video, panheads just aren't the best way to go. This particular panhead is very smooth and will work decently for video and outperform most other panheads I have dealt with, but you're really going to want a different head for video if you intend to use this tripod.The stability and versatility you get with this tripod are phenomenal for the price. You could buy the legs only (around $100 right now on Amazon) and get a fluid video head (EI-717AH for around $75 on Amazon) and have a great video tripod package for the same price as the 700DX with the panhead. That would be the route I would go if I was planning on shooting video with my tripod.

Answer:	4.4lbs according to Slik, so I wouldn't push it past five. However it holds my DSLR with 75/300 without problems.

Answer:	Panning is rough if the knobs are too tight, but if you keep them loose, it will work, but it requires balance, meaning that to achieve ideal smooth panning, the knobs on this tripod have to be so lose that the weight of the camera might cause the angle to tilt if not supported constantly by your hand. Balance can be achieved, but it will not measure up to a $200 tripod.
Question:	Slik U8000 how high does it raise fully extended? It seems that is not mentioned
Answer:	The shaft itself is about 24 inches if I remember correctly without going to measure. So shaft fully extended is 71" tall and 47~ retracted.
Question:	it's says u8000 but the photos show a u9000 what's the difference? does the 8000 have a quick release head
Answer:	I do not know the difference between the two models. The 8000 does have a quick release head, we use it with a Cannon Rebel and a Cannon D60 and also the Cannon Elura video camera.

Answer:	I would say "No" based on just looking at it. There is a pointed tip that goes out beyond the threads so I cannot imagine the base being able to thread onto this foot because the rubber movable tip does not come off-it just adjusts for dirt or concrete.

Answer:	No its not possible to hold on to the grip and place ur camera at the other end. It doesnt have the functionality to do so. This is not one of those monopods that you can take selfies with. And when you mean it can get wet and will not hinder its functions? Then yes

Answer:	Completely collapsed, the monopod is 21 3/8" long (54.3 cm). When packed in the included case, it's 22" (55.9 cm).
Question:	Can the Non-skid rubber foot be unscrewed (removed) in order to connect to the top of a tripod as an extension
Answer:	The answer is, not easily. The screw isnt threaded all the way. It is push in fitting into the pole. Also the spike is part of the screw. You can rip it out, tap the plastic end cap to accept the 3/8 male to 1/4 female adaptor that come with it and then thread on your tripod foot. It will be extra work and you need threading tools but for $18 you may still come out well ahead. You might also be able to buy a 1/4 stud with the same type push in fitting. I have pictures but no way to post it here.

Question:	There is no positioning handle... how do you position the camera? Thanks
Answer:	If you are using this Ballhead for the purpose of taking still photos you would simply grip the camera with your 2 hands and move the camera itself into the desired position. If you are using it for the purpose of taking a video then you would also move the camera by gripping it and repositioning it but it would not be a smooth panning movement. Hence this Ballhead would not be well suited for video use.
Question:	What is the weight of the head itself? Also, would this fit on the Sirui P-326 Monopod (diameter of head base match to diameter of monopod mount
Answer:	This is a seriously large ball head. As big as the biggest. I have a P-324x and would never consider putting this thing on it. There's no reason to get something with this sort of stability and weight for a monopod - it just defeats the purpose IMO. I'd look at the Sirui L-20S, or consider the Sunwayfoto DT-02D50 or Desmond DMH series offerings which are very well machined and a bit less pricey. If you're sold on using a ball head, look at something in the 20-40mm range (this is 58).
Question:	Does the lock system(red button) lock in other plates other than the sirui that comes with it
Answer:	It locks with my Peak Design Arca Swiss and Arca Swiss pro type plates.
