Answer:	The ball head it comes with is Arca Swiss. Now I use Manfrotto so I just unscrewed the Arca Swiss palate from the ball head stem and screwed a Manfrotto one in its place. I assume you can do the same thing with your type of plate.

The screw hole on the top of the connect adapter does not allow the screw head that goes into the stem of the ball head to counter sync and sit flush with the top of the connect adapter plate. It sticks up to high. This prevents the Quick release plate from being able to clip into place. The modification is not hard to do. I had to buy a counter sync drill bit ($8.00 at HomeDepot) and open up the top of the hole so that the screw would go down enough and the screw head would sit flush. For that reason I am only giving this 3 stars. Now it works perfectly. I am extremely surprised since this is an original Manfrotto product. You would think they would know their own products better.

Answer:	Not very long at all with this model. I find it easier to tell how long you have by the obvious change in power for the last minute or so. Keep it close and try to do most of your filming or high flying for only the first 3 minutes (with 500mah+ battery) and then bring it back close. Trust me I crashed on the beach just 2 feet from dry land because of this. Got too gutsy and flew with video for 6 minutes. Hope my answer helped

Answer:	the device itself broadcast a wifi source to connect your device into. there's more geeky info on this, but the connection is rather simple -- detect the broadcast ID and use the app software to operate. i'd like to interject two immediate things off topic: this is a really light weight device and is very wind affected, and also controlling via the phone screen is very difficult because of the narrow scope of the camera... for toy purposes its ok, but i wish i had bought the $500 versions to really take outdoor photos etc. its a cute toy thing that i ended up like all r/c toys not really "playing" with after a day or two... battery life very challenging, fragile legs that can come off on landing as well as snags any and all ground clutter... but it does communicate to the phone and its app very well. don't sweat the wifi, the manual and online videos will get you up flying in minutes.

Question:	Can this tripod head turn to pan during video
Answer:	I have used it to pan. However, it's first motion is a bit sticky/jerky (when you begin the pan). Smooth after that. Haven't tried putting a drop of oil on the pivot point yet. That might help, don't know for sure. I mostly use it for stable shots like interviews but have used the pan on a few video's. It's not bad for the price.
