Answer:	Maximum height is about 63 inches with all legs pulled out.

Answer:	No the head is not removable, yes you can put a slider on the mount, however, I had to throw this tripod away after a few uses because the 3 inside bars that stabilize the legs together are super thin and weak and broke very easily, I would shop for a different tripod if I were you

Answer:	Unfortunately no. When the head detaches from the handle the screw remains on the bottom of the head. I had to buy a small manfrotto head to put on my slider.

Question:	What's the maximum weight this scope will hold
Answer:	I think what you're asking is how much weight (scope or camera) this tripod will hold. In the specs of the tripod there is a statement that it has been designed to handle "under 2 kg" and "long lenses may not balance well". I use the tripod with a Celestron Ultima 80 angled spotting scope. The scope is 16 inches long and weighs 1.6 kg. While positioning the legs of the tripod allows proper and sturdy balancing, I get a vertical downward drifting of the vertical tilt so I have to focus higher in order to have the scope sight my target properly. Not a good thing for me. I use it primarily for monitoring shooting at targets, but this lack of control is annoying when showing the grand kids the moon, etc.
