Question:	The description says "Universal ball head design with 2 locks and 360 degree dial..." Are there separate locks for panning and the ball position
Answer:	I have had a 1DSMKii with a 600L lens on it and the ball head held it fine. That said it was more a test per say, not sure I would feel to great on using the head for that particular combo routinely, but in a fix with me right there, it will do. Just need to make sure the lock knob is very tight. Also thought tilt pan is pretty good, not the smoothest head by any means and the tension knob has very little fine tune adjustment.
Question:	Does this allow for vertical photos? I am taking pictures of dresses
Answer:	If you will be doing a lot of "portrait" format photography, like dresses, you really want to get an inexpensive L bracket like the 3 Legged Thing QR11-LG Universal L-Bracket. Then you can easily mount your camera in the verticle orientation on the tripod.
Question:	As a retired photographer I have a number of medium aluminum Bogen tripods..How does this compare
Answer:	I don't have a Bogen although I know their rugged reputation. I have found the Neewer carbon fiber tripod to be very light weight, less than half the weight of my aluminum heavy duty tripod. I am in France now, using it with a Nikon d7100 and some fairly heavy telephoto lenses and it is rock steady. Very easy to use and set up. The quick lock camera mount and shoe are easy to use and has no play in it at all. Really like. Has a nice hard case cylinder with strap for carrying. One of the reasons I got it is that is very compact and fits in my luggage easily for traveling.
Question:	This looks like the MeFoto (by Benro), but much cheaper. However, I'm wary of buying from "knock-off" brands. So, is this as good as the MeFoto
Answer:	Newer makes stuff in all ranges of quality. I have stuff from them that has been fantastic,this being one of them and I wouldn’t call them a knock off co. Either. I’ve bought stuff that cost 3-4 less. So look at how often you need it and how you will use it. I’ve had this thing everywhere and watche my buddy struggle wit a high dollar one. I could buy 5 like mine for what he paid for his. You’ll see all kinds of stuff made by newer with different names on them. They are a rock solid company with super customer service and yeah, they make some inexpensive stuff for people who don’t have big bucks to buy the fancy crap so they can still reach it on a tight budget. I do a lot of Astro with this so some of my work requires heavy gear and this works great.
Question:	Do you get 60x worth of zoom? And is it clear at high power
Answer:	I did not consider the max zoom acceptable. I did not feel the image was clear. It required a tripod for any hope of focus at that distance; even then it was not clear. I returned the them for a refund.

Answer:	They are ok, a telescope would be better for star gazing & planets.

Answer:	Certainly not. The quality of the lenses were really poor on this model so I returned it.

The "190 Pro" tripod design provides the versatility to pull the center column up and, with a quick release button at the bottom, be rotated to a horizontal position. In that position, with the ball head you can position your lens at almost any angle, including vertically over a table or the ground. Additionally, with the leg's ability to be splayed widely you can get within inches of a ground subject.

Answer:	The Manfrotto MT190CXPRO4 has a center column which not only extends in height, but also can be flipped to horizontal. This tripod can adjust as low as 3.2", versus the Zomei z818c which has a minimum height of 22". This is important if you shoot wildflowers and fungi, like me. I have two Manfrotto tripods with different Manfrotto heads for different purposes. I like their quality. The Zomei tripod with head combo seems too cheap to have the same quality as Manfrotto products, in my opinion.

Question:	what is the folded height of the tripod
Answer:	Depends on which head you have on the tripod (there are two) Approximately 24 inches with the large one, maybe 3 inches shorter with the small one. Also the tripod will not fit into the bag with the large head on it (not zipped up completely).
Question:	Does this come with a ball head and a fluid pan head also
Answer:	Yes, I havent used the fluid pan head as of yet but i got it.
Question:	Where can I buy another quick release sled for the ball head
Answer:	When I ordered mine they were listed on Amazon.

Answer:	Super light. 4lbs maybe. Great for photo but not great for video.
