In answering your question about stopping the screen from turning off, I did not have a problem with either of the two frames I purchased. I would suggest you contact the company's customer support and see if they can assist you in resolving this issue. If they can't, then I would return the item as it might be defective.

You can’t see what photos you’ve sent via the app, though, so I personally recommend using email so you can check your Sent folder for what you’ve previously sent. Answer:	I bought my dad a kodak pulse over eight years ago and it has run with no problems. My kids bought me the pix star frame not quite 4 years ago and it has stopped working. I bought the pix star frame for my kids last year at christmas and it is disappointing to think that their frames could stop working in just 4 years. Of course the warranty is only good for 3 yrs. I am very disappointed. The price of the pix star is double to what I paid for the kodak pulse. Customer service has been very good. They are sending me a new cord to see if that is the problem but they don't think that will fix the problem. They are willing to sell me a new frame. LOL

For Larry, there is a setting to auto confirm all incoming pictures that will allow you to just email the pictures to the frame. They will popup on the screen with a couple second timer that the default option is to add to the frame. I thought that I had found a place on the web page to delete the pictures but don't have access to the password for the account right now so can't confirm that or not.
