Answer:	The CC-106R comes complete with a Impact Standard Stud for Super Clamp with 1/4"-20 Male Threads # SRP-102, which has a male ¼-20 theaded tip. The ball head – like all tripod heads – should have a female ¼-20 threaded receiver in the base. (More likely, it has a 3/8” receiver and also a ¼-20 bushing adapter, but it amounts to the same thing.) The ball head will screw directly to the included stud. Answer:	You can buy with or without stud. The stud is the method you use to attach other parts. It is usually on the part however it can be the wedge with stud that attaches to other parts. Wedge without stud is common. It is a great tool!
