Answer:	Mine came with Spade connectors, I also saw the statement you refer to but didn't see option. I took a chance and just ordered, I wanted spade and that is what it came with. Good light too, I have used it Twice now and really think it is a great light for my floundering situation.

Answer:	The opening is small. The pvc used is bigger than my homemade gig lights. The light/led can easily be swapped with another led light for $9 off amazon. It's basically a fog light from a truck thats ip67 water resistant. I bought two more led lights in case it leaked
