8 best cine lens for nikon digital
Cine lenses for Nikon digital cameras are specialized lenses designed for use in filmmaking and video production with Nikon DSLR or mirrorless cameras. These lenses are adapted or purpose-built to meet the unique demands of cinematography, making them distinct from standard still photography lenses. Here are some key features and characteristics of cine lenses for Nikon digital cameras:
Manual Focus: Cine lenses are typically equipped with manual focus rings that allow for precise and smooth focusing. This is crucial for filmmakers who need to control focus manually while shooting video.
T-Stop Rating: Unlike photography lenses that use f-stops, cine lenses are often rated in T-stops. T-stops represent the actual amount of light the lens transmits, which ensures consistent exposure settings across different lenses. This is important in filmmaking for maintaining consistent exposure during scene changes.
De-Clicked Aperture: Cine lenses usually have a de-clicked aperture ring, allowing for silent and smooth adjustments of aperture during video recording. This feature prevents audible clicks that can be picked up by microphones.
Geared Focus and Aperture Rings: Cine lenses often have geared focus and aperture rings that are compatible with follow focus systems and lens gears, making it easier for camera operators to achieve precise control over focus and aperture adjustments.
Larger Focus Throw: Cine lenses typically have a longer focus throw, which means the focus ring can be turned through a greater distance for precise focus adjustments. This is important for achieving accurate focus pulls in video production.
Parfocal Design: Many cine lenses are designed to maintain focus throughout the zoom range, known as a parfocal design. This is crucial for zooming in and out during a shot without losing focus.
High-Quality Optics: Cine lenses are engineered to deliver high optical performance, including minimal distortion, low chromatic aberration, and consistent image quality across the frame. This is essential for producing professional-looking videos.
Compatibility: Some cine lenses are specifically designed for Nikon cameras with F-mount or Z-mount, ensuring seamless attachment to the camera bodies.
Durable Build: Cine lenses are often built to withstand the rigors of filmmaking, with robust construction, durable materials, and precision engineering.
Cost: Cine lenses are typically more expensive than equivalent photography lenses due to their specialized features and build quality.
Cine lenses for Nikon digital cameras are favored by filmmakers and videographers who require precise control over focus, aperture, and exposure settings to create cinematic content. They are commonly used in professional video production, independent filmmaking, and other cinematography applications.

User questions & answers
Question: | will this be a good lens for apsc cameras |
Answer: | The back , of the Eclipse Palisade Panel, consists of a white lining. |
Question: | difference between thisone and the samyang 50 t1.5 ds |
Answer: | Just one -- but be careful -- they are NOT black-out. They're thin and lots of light comes through. |
Question: | Do you have this lenses in pl mounts |
Answer: | The texture varies. Some are basic, boring weaves and some are more "girly" with squiggle detail thrown in. I don't remember what the material is made of, but the fabric of this particular curtain is not enough to block out light on its own - the foam backing is definitely necessary for that. But I posted in my review that the foam is a con to this product when it comes to washing. You have to be insanely careful. Wash cold with little detergent and with liquid fabric softener. That later tip I learned only after I had shredded 2 different sets :-/ |
Question: | does this lens work for the blackmagic pocket cinema camera |
Answer: | YES! The backs of these curtains are white. They also really work, although when I took them from the package I was skeptical. I also use mini-blinds drawn tightly closed. |
Question: | Does it have the sensing chip to help in focusing |
Answer: | Please accept the following discount codes as a reward for your loyalty :) All valid until July 16th (Home Office FURNITURE & DECOR) 1) Set of 4 Kitchen Chairs, Fabric Cushion Side Chairs: https://www.amazon.com/Coavas-Kitchen-Dining-Cushion-Grey/dp/B06XGD4S54 2)Home Office Computer Writing Desk with 5 Side Shelves: https://www.amazon.com/Writing-Computer-Students-Study-Home-Office-Workstation-BREN11/dp/B079NM7SPV 3)PU Leather Computer Game Racing Chair : https://www.amazon.com/Coavas-Computer-Racing-Leather-Executive/dp/B01MT80N1J 4)Folding-No-Assembly Entryway Console Table: https://www.amazon.com/Folding-Console-No-Assembly-Installation-Industrial-HORES/dp/B07QJYSDRX 5)Easy-Assembly Folding Coffee-Table https://www.amazon.com/Living-Room-Coffee-Table-LINE15-Easy-Assembly-Installation/dp/B07PCHWKLF |

Answer: | The the color of the grommets, for the Eclipse Nadya Curtain Panel, is antique bronze. |
Question: | will this fit on a Nikon D5200? or what adapter will I need to make it fit |
Answer: | No it does not. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this lens auto focus |
Answer: | The Latte color you see in description is the color they are. So no not a natural burlap color. I would say more like a warm green olive color. I'm very happy with the quality of these drapes too. |
Question: | Will this work on a Nikon 7100 and does it have focus confirm |
Answer: | It’s one panel, I believe. |
Product description
Focus confirmation chips 'trick' the Canon EOS body into thinking an EF lens was attached, so that the focus confirmation indicators work with any lens attached. The leaf spring design in the adaptor holds the lens tight to the adapter, mimicking the leaf springs in the camera body, ensuring there is no play between the camera and the lens. The depth of the adapters are designed to take into account the differences in focal flange distances between the lens and camera ensuring that all lenses, both brand name and third party, will focus at least to infinity (if not slightly past). Fotodiox Pro adapters are designed with tight tolerances to create a solid, gap free, no play, no wiggle connection with no adjustments ever needed. The precision all-metal construction with chrome plated brass mounts for a secure and solid fit are backed by the Fotodiox 24-month warranty.
Compatible Canon (EF, EF-S) Mount Cameras Include:
• Firmware 1.0.3 (no test for later versions): 1300D, 1200D, 800D, 760D, 750D, 700D, 650D, 600D, 500D, 450D, 400D, 350D, 200D, l00D, 80D, 77D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 1DS2, 1DS3, 1DX, 1DX2, 7D, 7D2, 6D, 6D2, 5D, 5D2, 5D4
• Firmware 1.3.3 (no test for later versions): 5D3
Not all camera models and firmware updates are available for testing, some test results come from customer feedback.
Note:
• This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
• Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode.
• If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, the lens aperture will revert to its default position, which depending on the lens is either stopped down to its largest f-stop or opened up to its smallest f-stop.
• All pictures are for illustration purposes only. Actual product may vary slightly due to ongoing improvements in design.
- Mounts a Vast Range of Vintage Workhorse Lenses to Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) Mount D/SLR Cameras
- Upgraded and Enhanced, Generation v10 Focus Confirmation Chips for Increased Compatability
- Enhanced craftsmanship and high-tolerance construction for demanding professionals; Infinity Focus or Beyond Guaranteed
