Answer:	These answers are only partly correct. The camera has a 1 gig buffer so for long videos it will break them in pieces. You won't loose footage but you'll have to string them together.

Both have waterproof casing and accesories but the real diference between black and silver editions is the video quality (4K vs 1080p) and photography resolution (12MP vs 10MP).
