Question:	Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer:	I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.
Question:	Does this have an automatic shutoff If I forget to turn it off
Answer:	I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.

Question:	what is the lens (mm) for UV filter
Answer:	I use 40.5mm Hoya filters on my TG-6 and TG-5.
Question:	I bought a fuji xp, highly rated as well, but was disappointed with the overall quality, underwater looked flat. should i expect better from this
Answer:	The Olympus TG-6 will produce very good UW images if used it correctly. Ideally the underwater mode is selected and the correct white balance depth is chosen. UW photography helps tremendously from having clear water and strong frontlit sunlight with no clouds . You also usually need to get pretty close to your subject. Without those you may need strobes or to use a flash. If want to learn more about TG UW photography google "tg-5 backscatter tutorial". In some cases after all that, the images yes will be a bit flat and you will need to do some post-processing. TG-6 images are good quality and tend to respond well to PP, especially if you use a raw file and a raw editor like light room. You can also use a free editor like Gimp...which can easily take care of flat image. Gimp > Color > Brightness-Contrast > Contrast (crank it right and the flatness should magically go away). Gimp can also do a good job with white balance correct (although LR is likely better at both tasks).
Question:	Does this camera come with a lens cover
Answer:	No. In spite of this, I have never smudged the lens. It is recessed enough that even when doing VERY close-up macro shot, the lens stays clean. If you are going to chuck the camera into a (filthy) jacket pocket, then something like the Olympus Lens Barrier LB-T01 would be for you. I have used the Olympus CLA-T01 Conversion Lens Adapter which comes with the traditional clamp-on lens cover. It usually stays in-place. For real dirty and dusty locations, I use a screw-on UV filter to keep the optics from getting scratched by wind-driven grit. I hope this helps.
Question:	What is the difference between the tg5 and the tg6? the specs are virtually identical
Answer:	There are some noteworthy improvements. Chromatic aberration is reduced, the purple orb issue has been reduced, you can now shoot microscope videos and you can use aperture mode with microscope mode. The TG-6 images are also a bit darker and less likely to be over-exposed. I think there is an improvement in image quality. The TG-6 is also a bit more rugged (thicker lcd, better for reduction, etc). The biggest improvement is in the lcd screen.

Answer:	Yes there is a flash. Takes a real nice picture with the flash.
Question:	The manual is incorrect How do you delete all? flashing orange = charging
Answer:	Turn your camera on, push the arrow button below the green light, then hit trash button. screen will prompt you to delete one or all, pick choice and push set.
Question:	can you film with it? if you can, does it have good video quality
Answer:	Quality is garbage..,,much much better off and much cheaper with an old iPhone for pics and video Needed us for business but big mistake.... camera is trash

Answer:	There is no built in GPS. However, you can record your GPS location in your phone with the Canon app, then upload the data to the camera and it will automatically tag the pictures. There will be no poi data.
Question:	Does this camera have a macro setting
Answer:	It does shoot in macro mode. You can download the user manual from the Canon USA web site.
Question:	Besides the camera what else does it include
Answer:	Battery, charger, hand strap, quick start guide.
Question:	can anyone explain the difference between this and the older one that looks the same
Answer:	It also has a different timelapse feature. On the older model the timelapse feature is only designed to work for starry skies, the newer model it is more flexible and will work for any kind of light setting.

Question:	should I buy extra battery
Answer:	It is always worth having a back up battery for any camera you have. I doesn't go low fast, but definitely recommend a second battery.

Answer:	It uses MOV - MOV is an MPEG-4 video container and also a common multimedia format using a proprietary compression algorithm developed by Apple Computer. It is mainly used in Apple's Quicktime for saving movies and other video files, , compatible with both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Answer:	Yes In the Program setting, you have a ‘Nighttime’ mode which allows you to shoot w/o flash on a slow shutter speed.

Question:	does it accept sd cards
Answer:	Thank you for your question. The KODAK PXIPRO FZ43 Friendly Zoom Camera takes a standard SD or SDHC memory card. We recommend purchasing a card that is no larger than 32 GB. Please note that the FZ43 is not compatible with Micro SD, Micro/Adapter, Ultra, Ultra Plus, Extreme, or XC Cards.
Question:	Is this camera compatible with windows
Answer:	We didn't have a SD card reader built into our computer so I had to buy an external card reader, but once the pictures were on the computer there was no trouble using windows 10 to do anything we did before.
Question:	My camera won't turn on. I made sure they followed the plus and minus. I even changed the batteries and checked again
Answer:	Mine did the same thing and the supplied batteries checked good. Then, I put some Duracell batteries in the camera and it came to life. The supplied batteries are probably weak. Try some new Duracell Alkalines and try it again, before you send it back.
Question:	does it come with a battery charger
Answer:	No it does not. You must buy your own batteries although some are included. Buy rechargeable and your own charger.
