Answer:	The manual says 29 minutes or 2GB (assuming available space on the SD card, of course).I've never personally shot anything that approaches the limits, but I'm quite pleased with video performance. Zoom while shooting works (and without recording noise artifacts), it handles low light situations as well as anything else I've used, the dedicated video stop/start button lets you record as soon as you slide the lense cover down.Favorably impressed with this camera in all respects.

Desirable filmic looks are available with Picture Profiles which determine the character of movies by changing basic parameters like chromogenic effects and gradation adjustment. User questions & answers

Question:	Does anybody know if this camera has the ability to take pictures infull focus mode? meaning no blurred background? how is that done
Answer:	Set the aperture to the minimum, which is F22 in this camera. It is almost no-blur picture. Actually this is a 35mm lens, so unless you put this above F4, there won't be much blurred area in the picture. From F8 and down, you won't notice much "blurring"
Question:	This camera is not good for wild life, right? How far can it reach to shot a wild life picture clearly
Answer:	With a 35 mm lens the camera is perfect for travel and street shooting, but not for wildlife. You can use some of the built in software zooms, I.e. Clear Zoom and Digital Zoom to increase its reach, but then you are shooting 11mpx pictures. Even with all the software zooms there is not much reach. Why use a 42mpx camera at a much lower resolution? You are better off with a superzoom like the Sony Rx10 ii.
Question:	What is the fastest sd card that this camera can take? can it take an uhs-ii
Answer:	The "Sony U. Manufacturer- Zander" answer is inaccurate. I use the SanDisk 256GB Extreme Pro UHS-I SDXC U3 Memory Card (Class 10) on the RX1R II and its works great, no issues.
Question:	Hi, can this camera record videos in 4k format? Thanks
Answer:	No image stabilization would make the camera ideal for video on a tripod, but the camera is obviously best at photo quality at high ISO given the Full Frame. If you are looking for 4K video with stabilized zoom there are plenty of other options, such as RX100 IV and Panasonic LX100 (smaller sensors but less expensive at the expense of photo quality.)

35 mm F2.0 ZEISS Sonnar T* lens with macro capability

The fixed lens design allows the lens to be precisely aligned at the micron level to the focal plane of the full-frame sensor. ZEISS lens expertise meets Sony optical precision in a sophisticated large-aperture lens that’s matched specifically for the image sensor. The ZEISS Sonnar T* 35 millimeter F2 fixed focal length lens ensures exceptional image quality offering remarkable brightness and impressively sharp images from the center to the corners. The lens also has a unique Macro shift ring for focusing on subjects as close as 5.5 inch in front of the lens and has nine aperture blades that produce beautiful background bokeh. Unlike the focal plane shutter common to interchangeable lens cameras, RX1R II utilizes an in-lens leaf shutter, allowing 1/2000 sec flash synch speed and a significant reduction in overall body size.

World’s first1 user-selectable optical variable low-pass fil

The RX1R II features the world’s first1 optical variable low pass filter that allows photographers to achieve the desired image quality and resolution based on the presence of moire-inducing high spatial frequency objects in the scene, essentially combining two cameras – one with and without a low-pass filter – into one body. Three settings are available; including 'off', which provides comparable effects to having no low-pass filter and is suitable when prioritizing resolution, 'standard', which strikes a balance between resolution and removal of moire and color artifacts, and 'high', which places more emphasis on reducing moire and artifacting. Low-pass filter bracketing is also available and can be used to compare the effects of different settings.

Fast Hybrid AF with 399 focal plane phase-detection AF point

Your shots of action can look clearer than ever, thanks to a new full-frame image sensor that assures the world’s highest number of focal plane phase-detection AF points, at 399, and the widest coverage, of 45% of the image area1. Enhanced AF features

With Expand Flexible Spot, the RX1R II automatically uses AF points surrounding the selected point to support precise focus if the selected AF point is not positioned on your subject directly.
