Answer:	I have found this camera to take marginal pics indoors. It honestly is primarily best used outdoors Indoor focus is inconsistent. The camera has close up presets and an amazing amount of settings that are often not easily accessible. I purchased this specifically for it zoom capability in outdoor photography in raw format . It is primarily not a macro camera. You need a full slr camera for those with macro lens add-on. But it’s outdoors zooming capability is amazing at this price and quality.

Answer:	IT uses standars AA batteries. However, since small cameras like this usually "eat" batteries, I usually try to find a 4-pack of rechargeables that come with a small charger. This way I always have freshly charged batteries at the ready. Just a suggestion. The charger and batteries may cost yo around $10-$15, but replacing standard batteries over time will cost you that in a few months anyway..

Question:	Can you get an external charger to charge the battery, or can you only charge the battery via USB while it is in the camera
Answer:	Surprised someone is still asking about this and not really sure what you mean but...If you mean how many hours I ran it or its reliability I used it hundreds of hours over years and many drops and bangs and last I checked it still worked. If you mean battery life I think it was about 30 hours maybe 40 with radio or no song skipping.It was a great player and I using it heavily without fail through most of the ipod revolution. It wasn't until I got my ipod classic 4th gen 80 gig that I retired the sony. The ipod for double the price or so went from 120 songs to thousands. Fully shockproof, smaller more pocketable and better rechargable battery. The sony may have lasted longer though technologically as it was only a few years before I went to streaming through pandora. Still use the ipod where there is no data. Even then I miss directory forward/ back buttons of the sony. Ipod jog wheels suck especially when driving.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The KODAK PXIPRO FZ43 Friendly Zoom Camera takes a standard SD or SDHC memory card. We recommend purchasing a card that is no larger than 32 GB. Please note that the FZ43 is not compatible with Micro SD, Micro/Adapter, Ultra, Ultra Plus, Extreme, or XC Cards.

Answer:	We didn't have a SD card reader built into our computer so I had to buy an external card reader, but once the pictures were on the computer there was no trouble using windows 10 to do anything we did before.

Answer:	Mine did the same thing and the supplied batteries checked good. Then, I put some Duracell batteries in the camera and it came to life. The supplied batteries are probably weak. Try some new Duracell Alkalines and try it again, before you send it back.

Question:	Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer:	I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.

Answer:	I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.

Answer:	I believe there's a USB cable you can connect from a computer to the camera which will charge the battery while it's in the camera. But I got a charger for it when I got extra batteries.

Answer:	You have to buy the memory chip separately. It does not matter how many GB, as far as as quality is concerned. If you are just an average photographer, you are not going to store thousands of photos in your camera.

Answer:	Hi madmc, for starters, turn off the camera, remove the battery and wait for 1 or 2 mins, then return the battery. Turn on the camera and follow onscreen steps for the initial setup. Use the wheel button for navigation. This Sony camera is NOT a touch screen. -Ely
Question:	How do I upload pictures to my computer with this camera
Answer:	Hi, when trying to download or import picture files from this camera to your computer, first is to connect the supplied USB cable from this camera to your computer. If you are using Windows computer, an AutoPlay Wizard will appear on the screen and click Open folder to view files - OK - DCIM then copy the desired images to the computer. If using Mac computer, after connecting the camera to your Mac computer. Double-click the newly recognized icon on the desktop - the folder in which the image you want to import is stored. Then drag and drop the image file on to the hard disk icon. Hope this helps. -Ely
