The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses. |

I measured mine for you and the inside is about 5.5" x 5" x 3" so it will take a small to medium sized camera. My FujiFilm Finepix HS50EXR has a large body like an SLR so it needs a larger case. I agree that Amazon does need to reevaluate their recommendations though as this case, as another reviewer said, is recommended by Amazon for my camera during the purchase process and it's much too small. It will be extra work and you need threading tools but for $18 you may still come out well ahead. You might also be able to buy a 1/4 stud with the same type push in fitting. | Answer: | Hi, when trying to download or import picture files from this camera to your computer, first is to connect the supplied USB cable from this camera to your computer. If you are using Windows computer, an AutoPlay Wizard will appear on the screen and click Open folder to view files - OK - DCIM then copy the desired images to the computer. If using Mac computer, after connecting the camera to your Mac computer. Double-click the newly recognized icon on the desktop - the folder in which the image you want to import is stored.
