Answer: YES! It has several different high speed recording settings: 240fps, 480fps, and 1000fps. There is also a mode where the user can switch back and forth between 30fps and 240fps. This is my favorite setting because you can show normal motion then switch to slow motion in the same movie. The picture quality is excellent. The rest of the camera functions work well too.

Answer: Frame-by-frame playback is a function of your player, not the camera. Windows Media Player, VLC, and GOM are 3 common players, but I don't remember if any of them have frame-by-frame playback. However, they all playback at 30 frames per second. So, if you record your video at 120 frames per second, the playback will be in "slow motion" 1/4 speed. 240 frames per second will playback at 1/8 speed. I've used my camera at 240 fps to record both baseball and golf swings with outstanding results.Also, if you convert your video to DVD (using a program like AVS Video Converter), you can play the video on your DVD player and use the pause and slow play options.

Answer: I don't have 120 fps. This is what I have: hs30-240 at 432by 320, hs240 at 432 by 320. Hs480 at 224 by 160 and hs1000 at 224 by 64 pixels

Answer: Gosh! I think you can keep recording till memory runs out. I honestly haven't tried - most of the scenes I record last just 2 or 3 seconds - and at 1000 fps these scenes are stretched out to more than a minute. (and half minute or so at 480 fps)

Answer: metal body. Fabulous camera. A bit of trivia. I attended a baseball game, Mets vs Yankees in NY, sat in left field and took a picture from 400 feet with the Casio. Everything was crystal clear, even after I cropped the picture on my computer. Over the years I've had the finest of cameras, and this casio is absolutely fabulous.

The problem what gets me though is the video, I love the slow motion video that casio does. However video in low light was much darker than other cameras that i used, and especially in high fps modes it would get WAY darker and very grainy. I compared to my old casio before and my samsung wb2000 which both did high fps video and the difference was very apparent, it was darker and way noisier. You pretty much can only use this effectively outside. Normal 1080p video was decent enough quality when there's enough light, i had wind noise reduction on and it didn't seem to do anything though.Picture quality seems decent enough for a point and shoot, the precapture and high fps shooting modes are easy and great to use, preset modes are mostly useful too and easy to use and understand. Zoom works great, even the combined physical and digital zoom was done well.Overall if casio would have given better low light sensitivity i would have loved it but it really was crippled by this. I wish they would get some higher resolution slow motion modes, cameras are coming out with 120fps in 720p which is a great jump for the 640x480 with this.
