Answer:	When recording 4K movies, [ APSC Shooting] becomes disabled and locked to [Off]. This means if you use a ASPC lens the camera will not auto crop if you set the camera to record is 4K. If you want to avoid vignetting then you will set the record to 1080 and then set APSC option to auto.

Answer:	FE indicates that it is a Full Frame Lens. The a6300 is not a full frame camera it is APS-C. The a7iii is a full frame camera. Both the a6300 and the a7iii are E-mount bodies and can use the same lenses, where they will differ will depend on the selected lens and if they are FE or APS-C.

Advanced Real-time Eye-AF

Advanced “Real-time Eye AF” employs artificial intelligence to detect and process eye data in real time, resulting in improved accuracy, speed and tracking performance of Eye AF. With a half press of the shutter button, the camera can automatically detect the eyes of the subject and activate Eye AF in all autofocus modes and when in either AF-C or AF-A mode, eye capture is continuously maintained. Nano AR Coating

Effectively suppress reflections that can cause flare and ghosting with Sony’s original Nano AR Coating technology. This precisely defined regular nano-structure allows accurate light transmission, contributing to high-quality images, even more so than lenses with coatings that use an irregular nano-structure. The reflection suppression characteristic of the Nano AR Coating is superior to conventional anti-reflective coatings, providing a notable improvement in clarity, contrast, and overall image quality.

Circular Aperture

When changing your aperture to defocus the background, the light sources appear blurred. This ‘bokeh’ effect of the blurred background can be enhanced with circular aperture blades used in this lens. Conventional aperture blades have flat sides creating unappealing polygonal shaped defocussed points of light. α lenses overcome this problem through a unique design that keeps the aperture almost perfectly circular from its wide-open setting to when it is closed by 2 stops. Smoother, more natural defocusing can be obtained as a result.

Aspherical lens elements

Aspherical lens design dramatically reduces spherical aberration while also reducing lens size and weight. Spherical aberration is a slight misalignment of the light rays projected on the image plane. This is caused by differences in refraction at different points on conventional spherical lenses which degrade image quality in large-aperture lenses. Specially shaped “aspherical” elements near the diaphragm restore alignment of light rays at the image plane, maintaining high sharpness and contrast even at maximum aperture and can also be used at other points in the optical path to reduce distortion. Well-designed aspherical elements can reduce the total number of elements required in the lens, thus reducing overall size and weight.

Internal focusing

Only the middle groups of the optical system move to achieve focus, so the overall length of the lens does not change. Other important benefits include fast autofocusing and a short minimum focusing distance. Also, the filter thread at the front of the lens does not rotate, which is convenient if you’re using a polarizing filter.

Lens-based optical image stabilization

Gyro sensors built into the lens detect even the slightest movement, and the stabilization lens is precisely shifted to counteract any image blur that might occur. The use of precision, quiet linear motors and technology inherited from high-end Sony professional camcorders results in exceptionally quiet, effective image stabilization that contributes to high-quality movies as well as stills.

Direct Drive SSM (DDSSM) for quiet, precise focusing

Quiet, precise DDSSM (Direct Drive SSM) focus drive - employs piezoelectric elements oscillating at ultrasonic frequencies to drive the focus lens groups. In this case two floating focus groups are driven by independent DDSSM systems for precision positioning of the relatively heavy lenses required for macro photography. The DDSSM drive system is remarkably quiet, making it ideal for animal and insect photography, as well as for movies. It also improves the precision of “focus wobble” employed to achieve optimum focus when shooting movies.

Focus hold button

Once you’ve adjusted focus to where you want it, pressing this button on the lens barrel will keep the lens locked to that focusing distance. The preview function can also be assigned to this button through the camera’s custom settings.

Focus range limiter

This function allows you to set a limit on the focusing range which can save you time during AF operation as the lens will not ‘hunt’ through the entire focusing range. In macro lenses, this limit can be on either the near or far range (as pictured). In the SEL90M28G, the limit is set on far ranges only.

Sliding Focus Ring

The focus ring slides back and forth to select manual or auto focus which together with a focus hold button, inner focus, and a focus range limiter provide optimum control for macro photography making it easier to shoot insects and other subjects that cannot be approached too closely. Minimal focus breathing and quiet operation are also advantageous for shooting movies.

Answer:	The SEL28F20 is designed for full-frame cameras, the SEL35F18 is designed for crop-sensor cameras like the a6000. You can use lenses designed for full-frame cameras on crop-sensor bodies and vice versa but your results will vary. Answer:	I own this lens and use on the a6500. It has outstanding sharpness. The 28mm has a field of view of 42mm on the crop sensor a6000 series which makes it an excellent normal prime lens. I use it for street photography and for architecture and landscape photography. Most of the issues with the lens occur at the edges on full frame cameras. But on the crop sensor the edges are not used, so the issues with distortion are not seen on the a6000 cameras. I highly recommend this over the Sony 35mm 1.8 lens. It is a great lens and excellent value.

You pay for that privilege ... no doubt, but for me it's worth it. If price is a consideration, then the Olympus E-M5II has the best IBIS available, and you'd be surprised how close it really is in IQ and high ISO performance. But of course it's 16 MP vs 24 MP. I'm currently selling my A7II here on Amazon (look for M33Photo), after deciding to keep the E-M5II. It's like new with a very low shutter count and I always take great care of my equipment.

However, you need to consider many other factors when chooging a tripod. You might want to google how to choose a tripod/head. You need to look at load capacity, height, weight, folded length, ball heads, graphite, carbon fiber or aluminum, type of leg locks, pan & tilt range, with or without center column, your budget, etc.. Depending on what kinds of conditions or subjects you shoot, some of these factors may not be at all important to you. But you don't want to pay extra for features you don't want or need. I probably use a tripod less than 5% of the time. I don't do landscape and If I eliminated the few times a year that I shoot night skies or do light painting, I would not need or use a tripod.

Answer:	Correct, it does not have in-body Image Stabilization . That is main thing that the a6500 has that the a6400 does not. However if you use a lens with OSS (Optical Steady Shot), then the lack of in body stabilization should be mostly negated. Both of the kit lens options have OSS, as do many other nicer lenses.
