User questions & answers

Question: Does it come with a carrying bag/case
Answer: No it doesn’t. I bought this: Case Logic DCB-304 Compact System/Hybrid Camera Case (Black)
Question: I ordered this camera kit and it just arrived today. However, there’s no memory card. What kind of memory card to be used with this camera
Answer: This camera takes SD, SDHC & SDXC cards (manual page 154) I use SanDisk Extreme 128GB UHS-I, U3 Class10, 90 MB/s for general use. For videos, UHS-II cards are recommended.
Question: Will the om2 lens work with the omd e-m10 markiv
Answer: If you are referring to the original OM lenses that were manual focus only, for the old OM-1N and OM-2 film cameras they will not directly fit. However both Olympus and third parties DO make lens adapters for 35mm firmat lenses to fit the micro four thirds cameras. BUT in using them there are some limitations: manual focus, aperture priority only, and must hold the aperture stop down since there is no mechanism to trigger it at exposure time.
Question: Does it provide custom white balance
Answer: Yes you can set to custom WB. Press top far left button (left of on/off switch), select WB (top, 2nd left) scroll across from WB Auto to end which will say "5500K", select and set temp.

User questions & answers

Question: The true pic specs for the camera pictured says viii — the mark 3 true pic is ix — will the mark iii ship

Question: Does the set up kit bring the 35mm lens and 14-150mm
Answer: I bought the camera with the lens. II read the information and ordered the camera that included the 14-150mm lens.

User questions & answers

Question: My digital camera has a delay between pushing the shutter button and the photo actually being snapped. What is the response time of this camera
Answer: Yes
Question: does it come with lens cover
Answer: If you are vloging no because the screen doesn’t flip back for you to see yourself and if you want good sound no because no audio port but it’s good otherwise
Question: Is this camera good in low light situations
Answer: It's fine for nature, sunsets and landscapes. It's not good for sports, because it only shoots 3 frames per second doesn't have the best lens for sports. It would do OK for sports outside in full sun, but you might want to get the kit that has the 70-300mm lens. It will do badly at indoor sports events.
Question: Can you take close up macro shots with this camera
Answer: yes it comes with both

User questions & answers

Question: Does the EM-1 Mark iii come with a flash
Answer: Probably they say that because the D7000 is a DX camera and the lens is FX. It is compatible with the D7000. It requires a motor in the body to focus. The D7000 has that. Some of the lesser Nikons such as D3000 series don't have that and require a focus motor in the lens.
Question: Does all the packaging utilize tamper-evident tape? My "new" kit appears used
Answer: Anything above 20 or 30 power will begin to get fuzzy. Anything above that and remain clear will cost you MONEY.
Question: Can you see through the electronic viewfinder in bright sunlight
Answer: I use my camera tripod and it fits just fine. I think that any adapter tripod mount should work if another size is needed.
Question: How does the evf compare with the mark ii? my understanding is that the mark iii has an oled evf, which should be an improvement on the mark ii's lcd
Answer: I have never tried to put filters on this. I use this scope with Iphone for zooming on wildlife. i suspect the best answer would be contact this company for complete specs and compatibilities.

User questions & answers

Question: I just ordered the em5 11 but was wondering how the EVF does in harsh sunlight
Answer: Seeing detail in bright sunlight is one of the advantages of the Electronic Viewfinder (EFV). When using EVF you are looking into the viewfinder thus the external light does not shine on the surface you are viewing like it does when using the LCD on the back of the camera.
Question: What is the hdmi output specification. hdmi 1.4, 2.0? looking to use this camera with a external recorder
Answer: Manufacturer's site.http://olympus-imaging.jp/product/dslr/em5mk2/feature3.htmlThey said, they doesn't recommend to use with external recorder via HDMI, frame late 24p,30p and 60p.
Question: is this camera easy to use for a beginner
Answer: I have found it is not an easy camera due to the amount of different settings it has. but once I figured it out how to use it, buy watching video tutorials and purchasing the Mastering the Olympus OM-D EM5 Mark 11 book on amazon I managed to work through all the different settings and love the camera.
Question: Does any of the current olympus digital cameras accept lenses from the OM1 days
Answer: Yes. The OM1 film camera lenses will work with the appropriate adaptor but only in manual mode...no auto exposure, nor auto focus. You can find these adaptors on line or at a quality camera store. Olympus makes them but they are much more expensive.
