Answer:	First of all if you spent all that money to buy the Mercedes Benz of the cameras then don't put Honda Civic tires on it. But having said that, you will get vignette up to 14.5mm and once you passed that point it is acceptable unless you change the Image Area to DX then you can use it fully but that defeats the purpose of having an FX sensor and spending all that money to get a full frame. I use this lens on my D750 which is also full frame but i just use is from 16-20mm only for some wide shots. I bought this for my previous APS-C D7000 camera but I still use it on the full frame. The alternatives are at least $1000 more expensive so if you can pay that price (and you should for a wonderful camera like D810) then don't buy this and listen to the rest of the folks here.
