Question:	what settings does the camera have, for example sport, black and white, food, fireworks
Answer:	In order to use the 500 mm telephoto lens, you will have to attached the 500 mm to the Vivitar T-mount that was included in the bundle. Once you securely attached the 500 mm lens to the T-mount you will then remove any lenses attached to the body of the camera and replace it with the 500mm. The T-Mount actually serves as an adaptor to the camera. Hope that helps.

Question:	I purchased a Fuji Finepix S4300 that gives me dark and yellowed photos when taken indoors. How does the Sony DSCW830/B rate for taking photos inside of an office
Answer:	The pictures are great! They come out nice, whether taken outdoors or indoors. I love that the camera can take panoramic pictures. My son and daughter have similar Sony cameras that they have had for awhile so I bought one because they recommended it.
Question:	How long of a lag time is there between shots? Does this camera have something like a burst mode; taking a rapid series of shots
Answer:	It does have a "burst mode"; however, it is not as you would expect it to be. It is a bit slower than the traditional DSLR/SLR. Thus far, as per my usage, it has been satisfactory. Suffice it to say that if you are looking to capture a hummingbird in perfect detail and in multiple shots, this camera will fall just a bit short.
Question:	Does the camera come with a memory card
Answer:	No. According to the help guide, "Using internal memory: The camera has approximately 27 MB of internal memory." You can purchase other media cards to store data on as well.
Question:	I am looking for something for my 80 + Mother so it needs to be simple, would this camera work for her
Answer:	Frankly, I would not recommend it. I bought it to replace an earlier Sony digital camera I had, which was truly a "point and shoot"- always gave great pictures. This one has an impressive list of features (I never use 99% of them) but I'm still having trouble simply "taking pictures". It's possible that it might work fine with the right settings, but I haven't had success. Example of the complexity- I printed out (from the online manual) the definitions of all the icons that can appear on the camera's screen- it's about four pages worth (!) of tiny nondescript icons which no "normal" person could memorize. Yeah, I'm old (75) and old-school, but I suspect your mom might not get satisfaction from this camera.

Answer:	forget the MEMORY STIck! Go with the sandisk 32 Micro SD and get a GOOD reader(Sandisk or Lexar 35 bucks or so). I think I have the sandisk 64's in the camera.

Angle of View 34°-12° 30' The small size, versatile 35mm focal length, and outstanding overall performance of this Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* lens make it an ideal match for compact 35mm full frame format E-mount bodies. Although the optical design is state-of-the-art, this superb wide angle lens remains true to the original Sonnar concept with a bright F2.8 maximum aperture (“Sonne” means “sun” in German). According to DXO the images they produce are right on par with each other it just depends on your preference

Answer:	Hi Amazon Customer, to check if there is a problem with either the battery or the camera, I would suggest trying to charge the battery in-camera using the supplied USB cable and plugging it in to a computer or a wall socket with an AC adaptor. If the battery is charging, then the issue may lie on the charger itself. If not, replace the battery with a fully charged one. If the camera still won't turn on, the camera may need service. Answer:	You divide the telephoto focal length of 55 by the wide angle focal length of 18, and you get about 3X. It is far from the mega zoom cameras that boast 30X, 50X, and even 60X zoom lenses, but remember that this camera has a APS-C sensor which is almost 13 times larger than most mega zoom cameras. In general, the larger the sensor, the better the image quality, although in well-lit pictures, it may not be very apparent.

Answer:	Contents include: a3000 camera with 18mm-55mm lens with cover, fisheye lens attachment, shoulder strap, battery and charger(usb cord & charge block), and documents.
Question:	It's so cheap! Is this a real camera or just another point and shoot
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "real camera" and why a point and shoot is not? This is part of Sony's NEX / Alpha E mount line of interchangeable lens mirrorless cameras. The lenses are changeable with multiple available, and it has full manual control over exposure. But it is not a DSLR and does not have a mirror for the viewfinder. It is the least expensive camera in the lineup (same lineup as the A6000) and you can expect lower quality on most points (lower resolution screen, slower memory buffer, etc). But the Sensor is the same size (APS-C format) as the NEX / Alpha E mount lineup and most of the DSLRs from other manufacture, maybe a year older design that the A6000 (but still pretty state of the art compared to the older sensors Canon and Nikon put in $600 DSLRs), ultimately it should be capable of delivering similar quality images in skilled hands.
