9 best digital dslr

A digital DSLR, or Digital Single Lens Reflex camera, is a type of digital camera that uses a mirror and optical viewfinder system to capture high-quality photographs. DSLRs are known for their versatility, excellent image quality, and wide range of manual controls, making them popular among professional photographers and photography enthusiasts. Here are some key features and aspects of digital DSLR cameras:

  1. Interchangeable Lenses: One of the defining features of DSLR cameras is their ability to use a variety of interchangeable lenses. This allows photographers to choose the best lens for a specific type of photography, whether it's wide-angle, telephoto, macro, or prime lenses.

  2. Optical Viewfinder: DSLRs come with an optical viewfinder that allows photographers to compose images through the camera's lens. This viewfinder provides a real-time, through-the-lens (TTL) view of the scene, which many photographers prefer for its accuracy and low lag.

  3. Large Image Sensors: DSLRs typically have larger image sensors compared to compact or mirrorless cameras. This larger sensor size contributes to better image quality, particularly in low-light conditions, and allows for greater control over depth of field.

  4. Manual Controls: DSLRs provide extensive manual controls over exposure settings, including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sensitivity. This level of control allows photographers to fine-tune their settings to achieve the desired creative effects.

  5. Fast Autofocus: DSLRs often have advanced autofocus systems with multiple focus points, allowing for quick and accurate focusing, especially when capturing moving subjects.

  6. High-Quality Images: DSLRs are capable of producing high-resolution images with minimal noise, making them suitable for professional photography and large-format prints.

  7. Customization: Many DSLRs offer customizable buttons and settings, allowing photographers to tailor the camera to their preferences and shooting style.

  8. Burst Mode: DSLRs often include a burst mode that enables rapid shooting of multiple frames per second, making them suitable for capturing fast-action scenes or sports events.

  9. Optical Image Stabilization: Some DSLR lenses and camera bodies have built-in optical image stabilization, which helps reduce camera shake and blurriness in photos, especially when using telephoto lenses or shooting at slower shutter speeds.

  10. Video Recording: DSLRs have evolved to offer video recording capabilities, with many models supporting Full HD or even 4K video capture. The ability to change lenses and manual controls make them popular choices for videographers as well.

  11. Durable Build: DSLRs are often built to withstand tough conditions and are known for their robust construction, making them suitable for outdoor and professional use.

  12. RAW Image Format: DSLRs allow photographers to capture images in RAW format, which preserves all the original image data and provides greater post-processing flexibility.

In summary, a digital DSLR camera is a versatile and powerful tool for photographers who seek high-quality images, manual control, and the flexibility to use different lenses. These cameras are well-suited for a wide range of photography genres, from landscapes and portraits to sports and wildlife photography, making them a popular choice among photography enthusiasts and professionals.

User questions & answers

Question: I will have to obtain a replacement for my beloved 50D. I am guessing that the batteries will not work with the 90D, but what about the lenses
Answer: Battery - 50D does not use the same battery. It uses the BP-511A, and the 90D uses the LP-E6N. Several models do use the LP-E6N, but I think in the APS-C line it's the 70D and up. For lenses - All EF and EF-S lenses will work on the 90D, same as the 50D. Anything that worked on the 50D will also work on the 90D. Some of the older lenses, mostly cheaper zooms, don't really look very good on the 32mp sensor, due to the high pixel density. If you would like more information about the 90D, you should check out the review on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and has comparisons to several other cameras for reference. There are also sample images taken with the camera. Here is a link to the review. Be sure to check the comment section for an update to the review that Amazon will not allow me to post, for some unknown reason. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1K36NNGFV9ZCU/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07WFQYDD5
Question: What type of tether cable can I use on the 90D the usb with not fit my older cable
Answer: It uses micro USB. Any micro USB cable is fine, it doesn't have to be a Canon cable. You phone may have come with one, depending on how old it is. One caveat, not all of these cables are made for data transfer. Sometimes cables that are included with electronic devices that are meant to be used to charge with, they do not have the connectors to use for data transfer. Be sure that it is a data transfer cable. If nothing else, they are fairly inexpensive cables, you could just buy one. Simply type "Micro USB cable" into the search and it will come up. The amazon basics will work fine. If you would like more info about the 90D, you should check out the review I have for the camera on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has sample images taken with the camera. There are also comparisons to other cameras that you might have considered. Here is a link to the review. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1K36NNGFV9ZCU?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: How do l find out where this is shipped from
Answer: You can find the info about the seller under the "Add to Cart" and "Buy Now" buttons. If it is Amazon, then it will be from the nearest Amazon warehouse. If from an independent seller, then you would need to seek them out and ask them. If you would like to have more info about the 90D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has suggestions/comparisons to other cameras. There are also sample images taken with the 90D. Question: Is this a full-size sensor or cropped
Answer: Crop sensor, 1.6x crop. If you would like more information about the 90D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has comparisons to other similar Canon models like the M6mkII, T7i/77D, 80D, and the 7DmkII. User questions & answers

Question: Is this a US version with a Sony warranty or an international version with a seller warranty
Answer: My camera came with a Canon warranty an instructions to register with Canon. I'm not sure why you are asking about Sony..
Question: Does this come with the battery grip with the extra 2 batteries
Answer: It does not. Also of note, the grip is the same as the one used for the 70D and 80D, so if you have one of those it will work. It it worth mentioning that the grip does not have a joystick on it. This is due to the fact that it was made for the 70D originally, which did not have a joystick. If you would like more info about the 90D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. Question: Can it use the 'old' cr2 format or is it cr3 only
Answer: CR2 was replaced by the superior CR3. You will need up to date software to edit RAW files. If you would like more information about the 90D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has comparisons to other similar Canon models like the M6mkII, T7i/77D, 80D, and the 7DmkII. Question: How many card slots
Answer: There is only one slot. This will not be an issue the high majority of the time, but I felt that Canon has no reason not to add a second slot in cameras in this class. Sony and Fuji do, but Canon and Nikon both for some reason do not. Again, not likely to ever matter, but makes the camera less appealing as an event camera. I felt strongly enough about it to remove a star from the camera in my review (top review on Amazon). User questions & answers

Question: Does it have slow motion mode
Answer: Any camera that can shoot 60fps can achieve that smooth slow motion you’re looking for if you edit it in 24fps in your editing software and slow down your footage by 40%. Make sure your shutter speed is 60 at the lowest (ideally 120 or faster)
Question: I bought the G7 with 14-42mm kit lens. Images are great but there's a substantial amount of vignetting effect. Are there any solutions to this
Answer: Vignetting can naturally occur in all lenses, or can be caused or intensified due to use of external tools such as filters, filter holders and lens hoods. You did not say if you used the flash, this can sometimes throw a shadow caused by the lens hood. Also if you're trying to take pictures at the "short" end 14mm you might remove the hood to see if that helps.
Question: is this the american version
Answer: All of these should be the version sold in the US unless they say otherwise.
Question: Does the lens come with a hood
Answer: Yes, a hood is included. The manufacturer packages this model with the following accessories:*Li-ion Battery*Battery Charger*Body Cap*Hot Shoe Cover*Shoulder Strap*USB Connection Cable*AC Cable*Software DVD-ROM*Lens Hood*Lens Storage Bag*Front & Rear Lens Caps

User questions & answers

Question: Will autofocus work on the D750 with my older Nikon 80-400mm lens
Answer: The first lens I have on my d750 was the older 80-400mm and it works fine. The D750 (and all FX dslrs) has both body motor and use the af-s lens motor
Question: How comfortable is this camera for a woman with small hands
Answer: I have small hands and I love it. I did have to get used to buttons being in different places from my other camera. Nikon d5100. The d750 is an awesome camera. It is lightweight too.
Question: Can you use DX lenses in DX mode with this camera? Thanks
Answer: Yes, DX lenses can be used on FX cameras, but that would be a total waste of money buying a camera like this, because your DX lenses cannot use all of the full frame sensor, which is the reason to buy Nikon cameras D610 and above to begin with. You would be much better off getting a D7100, a DX camera for over $1k less.
Question: Is the 24-120 kit lens a good choice for this camera, or is the 24-70 a much better choice for mostly landscapes? Is the 24-70 noticeably sharper
Answer: For me this is about aperture the F-24 to 70 is a 2.8 aperture lens the 24 to 120 is an F-4 if you plan on shooting in low light with out having to extend you ISO to noise range the 2.8 24 to 70 will work bast but if you have a budget and plan on using strobes or Speed lights than in may not matter. there many factor that you can come up with but it's also mainly what you perfer. Good Luck

User questions & answers

Question: GPS onboard
Answer: a boat cabin, but I have used it for my Toyota fj cruiser a number of times and love it. It works well and the scent stays for at least 2 months. On a boat your size I would use at least six of these things to really get into all your spaces, more if your are trying to get rid of really tough odors. Hope this helps.
Question: Could somebody please recommend a weather-sealed telephoto/zoom lens for this camera? Thanks
Answer: I don't know what ingredients are in it...And we did not get a reaction...You have to let your car air out before using it
Question: How is the video quality on this camera? i've been looking at the canon 80d. but was wondering if this was comparable, or is it worse
Answer: I have used these indoors, with modest success. The area immediately surrounding the can will get pretty messy. I think would recommend sticking with something like Febreze and spraying by hand as needed.
Question: How does it focus? Is it fast and accurate? Thanks
Answer: I have leather seats and they are fine. I hold it back about 8 inches when I do spray. And it smells so good!!

Product features

K-70 Image Quality

Faster readout speed - 6fps continuous shooting. AA-filter free sensor for high definition image. Image plane phase-matching elements are embedded on the surface which allows Hybrid AF in Live View mode.

Prime MII with New Accelerator Unit

Coupled with the new accelerator unit and Ricoh's own processing device, the PRIME MII effectively suppresses noise and reproduces fine-detailed, color rich images even at higher ISO.

Pixel Shift Resolution with motion correction

Captures four images of the same scene by shifting the image sensor by one pixel using the SR mechanism. Each pixel captures all colors to provide high-resolution images with fine detail.

In-Body Shake Reduction MechanismDustproof & Weather-Resistant Body

The K-70's in-body shake reduction (SR) mechanism effectively compensates for camera shake up to 4.5EV steps. The SR unit minimizes camera shake to assure sharp, blur-free images, even in demanding situations, like when zooming with telephoto lens or shooting dimly lit scenes.

The K-70's SR system has a flexible design that shifts the image sensor unit in all directions, providing a host of handy shooting functions.

Weather-Resistant DSLR

The K-70 has a fully weather-resistant and cold proof design to resist water, fog, snow, sand and dust allowing for top performance in extreme field conditions. Its ergonomic design allows for easy operation even while wearing gloves.

The Pentax-original DR (Dust Removal) mechanism shakes off dust using high-speed vibrations, preventing any dust spots from appearing on captured images.

Vari-Angle LCD Monitor - 3"

Freely adjust the angle of the LCD for wide variety of articulation.

Expand the possibilities of the Live View shooting by capturing from high angles, or getting down low to approach the subject from the "dog's eye view".

The electronic level can also be displayed on the monitor, giving you an objective viewpoint when checking shot composition.

Wireless LAN connection to suport smartphone operation

The K-70 provides a host of wireless LAN (Wi-FI) functions to support operations using smartphones and tablets. By installing the dedicated Image Sync application, the user can remotely check the Live View image, capture still images and adjust such camera settings as aperture, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity to the desired level through the mobile device.

It is even possible to download captured images on the moble device and upload them to your social networking websites.

Ergonomic Controls

The buttons on the four-way controller are contoured for easy access even with gloved hands. The mode dials height has been optimized for ease of rotation. The PENTAX K-70 has been designed with meticulous attention to every detail to provide optimum comfort.

LCD - Outdoor View Setting

For comfortable use in any outdoor lighting situation, brightness of the K-70’s LCD monitor can be adjusted easily, depending on environment and live view needs.

In bright sunlight you can increase the brightness to help review sharpness and composition, while in dim lighting situations such as concert and event photography your can decrease the brightness to reduce the eye strain from bright lights.

LCD - Night Vision Setting

This Night Vision Red-Light display function is extremely useful for Nightscape and Astro-photographers, as it prevents the pupils dilating in dark locations, thus not effecting your night vision.

Navigation of the full camera menu and all its functions are accessible in Night Vision Red Light display, making the K-70 a fantastic option for night shooters and amateur Astro-photographers.

This monitor is designed to assure optimum visibility in a wide range of photographic conditions and applications.

K-70 & 0-GPS1

By combining the PENTAX K-70's built-in Shake Reduction System with the optional 0-GPS1, the GPS module, Electronic Compass and the cameras Shake Reduction mechanism combine to simplify astronomical photography of celestial bodies, without the requirement of an equatorial mount. Based on the latitude data obtained from GPS satellites and other affecting factors (the camera's direction and horizontal/vertical tilt) obtained by its various sensors, the O-GPS1 calculates the movement of celestial bodies, then synchronizes the movement of its image sensor with that of celestial bodies with great precision. Since it captures stars without a streaking effect even during extended exposures, you can record faint stars, which are difficult to detect with the naked eye.
