Answer:	It does a decent zoom, but if you want true zoom in or out, I suggest another lens. I only use mine for family photos, etc, and outings, but I may invest in another lens for close and father shots. I have a hummingbird nest on my patio, and I find the basic lens doesn't quite do the job of catching the tiny egg and details, and for distance it only goes so far.

Answer:	Some people consider the D3400 a better camera than the D3500 due to the elimination of the "Function" button on the front of the camera that was accessible with the photographer's left hand that allows the ISO setting to be changer with the right thumb wheel while looking through the viewfinder. Also the IR remote shutter control was eliminated. I believe from what I read that all this was done to reduce the size (the body is the same as the D5600) and weight of the camera, improve battery life, and reduce manufacturing cost. Nikon does have a free app for your smart phone, SnapBridge App, that allows your smart phone to act as a remote shutter control and can automatically send your pictures (reduced resolution) to your smart phone. So to answer your question - I don't believe the the D3500 is an upgrade or a downgrade to the D3400 just the next in their line of "Beginner" DSLR Cameras.

Answer:	Hello Cheshier.. Your question and the answer applies to almost all point and shoot digital cameras. The time elapse between pressing the button and the actual 'click' of the picture is a factor of the time it takes you camera to focus the subject and then the actual picture taking.. In other words it takes time for your camera to auto focus then take the picture. The way you and make it almost instantaneous is to point your camera at the subject, press halfway down on the button. Now your camera is doing it's auto focus. and then wait until you see the picture you want and then press the shutter button the rest of the way. Even the digital SLR camera have to be focused manually before the picture is actually snapped. Hope this helps.

Question:	How does this camera differ from the t7i
Answer:	I have had the FZ70 for about 3 months but I have had great results from taking available low light shots (dimmed incandescent ambient light, indoors on very cloudy days, shadows, evening, darkened rooms at night, etc., no flash) in the iA and iA+ (automatic exposure) modes. I checked after and according to the file properties for those pictures the camera used ISO speeds in the 400-800 range. The pictures are very well exposed and lighting is even, and noise is not an issue. When necessary in iA or iA+ modes, in some low light situations the camera will take multiple exposures automaticallly (HDR) and combine them internally produce a great shot with balanced exposure levels. In the iA+ mode there is a wheel on the back of the camera that allows you to adjust the lightness of the exposure. Plus as you get acquainted with the many capabilities and menus on this camera you can set the shutter, aperture, ISO limits, etc. For those few people who have negative comments about this camera in low light situations, I'm not sure they are using the camera properly. There are MANY ways to adjust the settings for brightness even in the iA and iA+ and other modes.

Answer:	If you're looking for the best macro possible...you need to set camera to manual focusing...since it will give you the better focus than autofocus option, especially if you're using close-up magnifying lenses...+1...+2...+3...or + 10...I have used these lenses, and it will give you a microscopic picture of anything at 16 megapixels...the magnifying lenses also works and with telephoto lenses...as I have said earlier, you just have to use MANUAL FOCUS on camera itself...I have combined +2...magnifying lenses with 2.2 Telephoto lens kit as well, and it gave me 50 times magnification with my old camera DMC-FZ 30...I currently own DMC-FZ 70 and the old camera had a huge advantage over new one because it was ISO-80 capable...ISO does not represent only sensitivity to light value, it also represents the size of the PIXEL...ISO-50 would give you the best possible picture....in old 35mm cameras, ISO determines the media grain size, that FILM / NEGATIVE is made from, and as the value gets bigger, the quality of the picture itself is degrading, while digital camera becomes more sensitive to light... I have captured the picture of the moon with camera mounted on a tripod...as it was sitting in my backyard...you have to understand when you're using any combination of lenses that will magnify your " OPTICAL ZOOM "...you don't lose anything of the quality of the picture itself, compared to digital magnification...of course, as long as the picture itself does not get distortion of a picture...when it comes to macro pictures, it's pretty much the same thing, you have to use magnifying close-up lens kit, if you really want to capture crystal clear superb MACRO...

Question:	I will have to obtain a replacement for my beloved 50D. I am guessing that the batteries will not work with the 90D, but what about the lenses
Answer:	Battery - 50D does not use the same battery. It uses the BP-511A, and the 90D uses the LP-E6N. Several models do use the LP-E6N, but I think in the APS-C line it's the 70D and up. For lenses - All EF and EF-S lenses will work on the 90D, same as the 50D. Anything that worked on the 50D will also work on the 90D. Some of the older lenses, mostly cheaper zooms, don't really look very good on the 32mp sensor, due to the high pixel density. If you would like more information about the 90D, you should check out the review on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and has comparisons to several other cameras for reference. There are also sample images taken with the camera. Answer:	It uses micro USB. Any micro USB cable is fine, it doesn't have to be a Canon cable. You phone may have come with one, depending on how old it is. One caveat, not all of these cables are made for data transfer. Sometimes cables that are included with electronic devices that are meant to be used to charge with, they do not have the connectors to use for data transfer. Be sure that it is a data transfer cable. If nothing else, they are fairly inexpensive cables, you could just buy one. Simply type "Micro USB cable" into the search and it will come up. Answer:	It does have WiFi capabilities and can send to a mobile device. But unlike the Canon SX60HS it' can't send wirelessly to your computer's hard drive. You'd use your USB cable or a card reader for that.

Answer:	You can with any camera like will give a 30 second exposure time (or longer). The trick is to have EXCELLENT tracking. The earth is turning so night sky object more out of the field of view quickly. You can mount the camera to a telescope that has tracking. So, yes, you can. Long exposures---hours---will give stunning images but tracking is not easy.

Answer:	For the external flash you have to use the slave option. This is a great starter set, but that confused me at first. Apparently, with this model Canon made the connection point for the external flash a proprietary connection and they removed the universal point. I read they are putting the universal connection back on models starting this year. You can make it work, but I'll probably just save up and get a nice Canon flash.

Answer:	Fixed. If you want a T7 with an articulated screen, get the T7i. The screen on the T7i will pivot in every direction: up, down, and flips around so you can do selfies.

Answer:	Both T7 and T7i have WiFi. But the T7i also has Bluetooth. If I understand properly, WiFi allows you to share photos to a computer (on the same WiFi network). Bluetooth is required to remotely control or view photos on a smartphone. Other main differences are that T7i has a better autofocus system, articulated screen (tilt it up or down to take photos from very high/low angles, or flip around to take selfies), which is also a touch screen (T7 is not a touch screen). Other minor differences are that the T7i has faster burst shooting, microphone port, and expanded ISO. Expanded ISO is a little useless in my opinion. T7 still goes up to ISO 12800, which is as high as I would go (and only under certain circumstances). Photos at higher ISOs are too grainy to be usable.
