Answer: I bought the Canon G7X in 2015 because I wanted a point and shoot that was good in low light situations. The ISO goes up to 12800. The G7X is wonderful! I've used it in concerts and also numerous times for shows in the main theatre on cruises. My friends told me I couldn't take photos as flash was not allowed-no problem with my camera. Photos turned out great! There are newer versions now to the G7X. I've been happy with mine-worth the money.

Question: This might sound dumb but do the wide angle and macro levels skrew on the the real lenses
Answer: You will get 2 Canon lenses. The Canon accessories are fine but all the extras are crap. Not worth the extra money, Do not put the camera on the tri pod too flimsy. You'll be better off buying the camera with the extra lens for a lot less money.
Question: How does the macro lens look
Answer: All lenses come with caps except the four piece macro set close-up lens and the three-piece digital filter kit
Question: Picture shows 1 lens on the camera with 2 separate lenses with the bundle, so I would receive a total of 3 lenses
Answer: It does come with the battery and charger. Everything in the picture is there. A great camera and so easy to use. Just what I was looking for...I love it!
Question: Does it come with lens caps
Answer: Yes both lenses are Canon lenses. The first is the EF-S 18-55mm Image Stabilized Lens and the other is the EF-S 55-250mm Image Stabilized lens. Both are good and gives you a good focal length range.

Question: Can you use it to do a pan picture
Answer: Panoramic shooting is not mentioned in the manual, and there does not appear to be a selection in the camera's functions to achieve it. You can probably still get that result with third-party external software on a PC by taking the sequence of shots to stitch together, but Canon does not provide it.
Question: Can someone verify that Wi-fi feature/ app supports this camera? I want this feature specifically and 2 comments say it doesn't
Answer: Just received mine yesterday 1/24/18. I downloaded the Canon app off of Google app store on to my smart phone. WiFi worked just fine... was able to operate my camera remotely thru my phone with the app. Downloaded pictures to phone and then to pc. Pc found wireless network for phone. Fyi. Amazon says screen is 5". Unless my visual capabilities are way off. No way it's 5" ... maybe 3

Question: Is this camera compatible with windows 10 / wi-fi, from what I understand.... it is not? The Manual states Windows 7 & 8, Not 10 is there a fix
Answer: This camera's lens cannot accept standard filters directly, you would first have to attach an adapter ring such as the Bower FA-DC67A which would convert it to a 67mm thread.

Answer: Are you asking if they screw onto the main lenses? No, they do not. The filters screw on to them.

Answer: Thank you for your time. In regards to your inquiry it is compatible. The main issue seemed to be addressed for most people in step 9 on page 108 of the manual. The camera is waiting for you add the device through the Windows Control Panel, which is not the norm with most other devices so it is frequently missed.
