Answer:	I'm looking at the box (I just got it for fathers day today). It has "Tripod adaptable for a stable viewing platform by using the optional tripod adapter". You have to buy that separately. The directions even show how to do it. Amazon has the adapter shown (Nikon Adapter 7650). It's kind of spendy, but from what i've read, it's just a standard 1/4"-20 mount- just about any of those will work. not sure where some of the other answers are getting their info.

Answer:	According to the specs, it's 3.05 or 3.06 pounds. Assume it's 3, since .05 or .06 pounds is about an ounce.

Answer:	The first number is the power of the lens, that is how much it will magnify the image. The second number represents the diameter of the lens in mm. They work together to calculate a number called the "exit pupil" or "exit ratio". Take the lens size and divide it by the power to get this number. The higher the number, the brighter the image. For example, 10x50 will give an exit ratio of 5.0, 8x42 would be 5.25, 10x42 would be 4.2. In my opinion, the exit ratio is more important than the power. My favorite binoculars are 8x50 (6.25) but I also just bought 10x50 as a gift who is delighted with that configuration. Stay away from high-power binoculars. Quick Start with 3 steps

1. Hold the binoculars with both hands and looking at a distant object.

Carefully and slowly move the binocular tubes downward or upward Until left and right fields are correctly aligned.

You'll See them are forming an oval circle in your sight.

2. It's now focused on your left eye and you will have to close your right eye. Look at an object through the left eyepiece with your left eye.

Rotate focusing ring until your left eye sees a sharp image of it.

3. It's now close to your left eye. Looking through the right eye and right eyepiece of the binoculars, adjust the diopter to focus the image of the object.

Rotate the diopter to get the final image.

Answer:	No. I don't believe any big buck spotting scope could do it. I've shot 1000 yard NRA sanctioned matches. Spotters in the pits below the targets put a large marker on the target and that you can see with a very good quality spotting scope,if the mirage is not too bad. At a 1000 yards a car would be a speck with these binoculars.

Answer:	"Normal" depends on your typical use. If you typically will be watching birds that are not closer than 25 feet they will be fine. Birds closer than 25 feet will be out of focus. Most of the better "bird watching" binoculars have a close focus of 12 feet or less.

Question:	Will this work w lg fiesta 2, how adjustable is the holder for the smart phone
Answer:	I couldn't us my iphone 6Plus, it was too big and the phone holder is not adjustable. It only holds a standard iphone size. I would guess you could purchase a different phone holder but I haven't looked into it.
Question:	Can anyone suggest a good make of binoculars to sun+star gaze with,at an affordable price,as lm a beginner etc..will l need solar lenses also
Answer:	For star gazing you want a brighter image at night than these (or most) binoculars have. You can tell how bright the night image should be (if they are well made) by taking the second number, 42 in this case, and divide it by the first number, 12 in this case. That division would give you 3.5 for these binoculars. Ideally you would like to get it to be 6 to 7. You can get a higher number 2 ways. If you make the second number higher, which comes by making the front lenses much bigger, you get a big expensive set of binoculars that are a pain to carry but have an awesome view of the night sky. The other way is to make the first number (which is the magnification or power) lower. So if you got 6 power binoculars with the same size front lenses as these (6x42) you would get binoculars that are the same size and price as these, much brighter at night, but only make things look half as big as these do. For the sun, any good binoculars with high quality solar filters work (if one breaks or falls off you can lose your sight in that eye!).
Question:	Will this work for iPhone
Answer:	It will work with any phone small enough to fit the included tripod adapter. Also, you need to get the lens of your phone camera right up against the eyepiece lens. My phone is a Moto X Pure Edition, and the tripod adapter just barely opens wide enough to hold it. I have an after-market protective case on my phone, so the lens won't go all the way up against the eyepiece. It works, but I only get a circular image in the middle of the phone screen. It quality of the image is excellent, and it'll work if you can figure it out and solve these two problems.

I've just ordered my 2nd one. still the best bang for the buck at $85. If you want waterproof, look at Bushnell or others that has IPX rating.

Answer:	Yes. The case is basic but sturdy with a velcro closure on the flap and a small zippered mesh pocket under the flap good for cleaning cloths or other small items. The included strap while not deluxe is lightly padded, adjustable, and quite adequate for all but heavy use.

Question:	Is the binoculars compact with night vision
Answer:	If you are referring to infra red night vision the answer is no. But the ability to gather light in a telescope/binocular is dependent upon the aperture of the objective lens. The human eye is capable of expanding to about 7mm so that limits its light gathering power at night. These binoculars have 25 mm objective lenses so you notice a big improvement in night vision over the naked eye. By same token, a 35 mmm or 50 mm binocular will have more light gathering power than these binoculars.

Answer:	The right side lens has a diopter adjustment if that is what you are referring to as "focus relief". The eye relief is quite good on these as well. Unless you are near legal blind level nearsighted, you shouldn't have any problems.
