Answer:	I've flown with this on 30+ flights absolutely full and it fits snug under all regular seats, never had an issue. If there's an outlet next to the seat, or it's irregularly shaped (as some are) it won't fit, but I carry this as my "small" item with a roller and never had a problem.

The length of the bottom compartment from top to bottom is approx. 11 inches, width is approx. 8 inches from side to side, and the depth is approx. is 5.5 inches from front to back. The top compartment is approximately 4.5 inches tall from top to bottom, 7.0 inches wide from side to side and depth is approx. 4.5 inches from front to back. The padding and construction throughout is great. The construction is very good with the zippers being tight and zipping with ease. I hope this helps!
Question:	What are the internal dimensions for the bottom compartment
Answer:	Yes to all. When my Canon T5i has the 75-300mm lens, I can still get the case to close. I normally have an 18-55 lens attached and carry the case with the 75-300, a wide angle, a collapsible tripod and the intervalometer all in the main pouch. Extra lenses are in padded bags as well. Moveable dividers help you organize to use space as you choose. The top pocket carries one more short lens, batteries and filters. Plenty of space. Water resistant is as far as I'd go. Not sure I'd like to be caught in a sustained downpour, but my equipment remained dry after some persistent drizzle.

Answer:	Just got this bag and it miraculously just barely fits my giant MSI 17 inch gp 73 leopard 8rf gaming laptop. The zippers barely go over the corners but it does zip up. Plus it has the flap that will hold it in place if you don’t want to take the time to zip it up. This is a great bag for the price. Perfect for traveling or every day use.

Answer:	The answer depends on the plane seat, and how full the bag is. In terms of height, this bag will stick out a bit into your foot space with any airline seat. There is room on the sides of the bag for the ends of your feet, so you are sitting with the ends of your feet next to the end of the bag. However, a flight attendant could flag the bag for sticking out if they wanted to, and you might not be comfortable in that position for the flight, especially if it is a longer flight. If you are seated in an area with a bit more legroom, such as United Economy Plus, this would be less of an issue. Regarding the depth of the bag, if it is packed with a laptop, and then power cords, glasses, etc in the outer pocket, it will fit under some seats, but not others. Some of the newer style airline seats have slightly height in the under seat storage area, and you would need to remove some items to make it squeeze in. In the end, it would generally be better to put in in the overhead bin, where it is easily under the size limits. The ThinkTank Airport Essentials is slight smaller (and not as well made in my opinion), but will fit under airline seats. ThinkTank also makes the MindShift. Same company, just a different line.
