It is worth noting that this product also discolors quickly, which is mostly a cosmetic issue but is something to note nonetheless.

Answer:	My case showed up with a cable that fit into phone adapter through the case opening. Hard to make guesses on your own specific cable without dimensions, pictures etc. Charging port needs to be original slim apple charger or a slim charger to fit but I haven't had any problems. I actually keep the Canon 35mm in a 9x9 cm case and it fits height-wise, but perhaps a bit loose width-wise, however the extra width also allows for the hood to sit snugly at the bottom of the case. Sorry that I can't answer specifically for the Nikon lens, but hopefully this gives you a comparison that might be useful.

Answer:	Hi Daniel,My 300 2.8 fits in it with the lens hood reversed, although its snug, it fits fine. The dimensions of my lens while in the case are 11 1/4 inches long and 6 inches in diameter. Nikon USA has the 200-500 dimensions as approximately 10 1/2 inches long and 4.2 inches in diameter, sounds like you should be fine with the Lowepro case. Good luck, and it is a really good case.
