Answer:	When searching through the reviews numerous people said they were able to use it this way. From what I can tell this may not fit under the seat of an airplane for United Flights, as their size dimensions are the smallest for personal items at 17 x 10 x 9 inches. However, if it can compress slightly it may be able to fit when it isn't totally full, as it depends on the size/build of the frame. Most other airlines should fit. From what I can tell in order to universally fit under the seat on an airplane a bag needs to be 17 x 10 x 8, or at least to be able to compress to that size. It would be great if someone could confirm if this bag could compress to that size if it is not full!

Answer:	Hi Luciana,I have a Dell Inspiron, and it is 15 inches....it fits perfectly, with maybe an extra inch. I don't know if your 17.3 laptop would fit in. If it does, it would be a VERY tight squeeze. I just answered this exact same question from someone who had a Toshiba 17.3 and asked the same question you did. My best advice would be to contact the company and ask them directly. BTW, if you have an ipad, or other flat tablet, it would EASILY fit in. I went hiking in Hawaii this summer with this backpack, and hiking with my Nikon and 2 lenses, plus laptop was VERY heavy. If you can go without a laptop, THIS BAG IS GREAT. It can hold up to 3 lenses (and I have a big ZOOM!) and protects the cama and the lenses. I also like the fact that you can remove the camera from the side or the front. Answer:	I just received this exact bag (waiting on my SLIK U-212D to arrive), and filled it out with compressed foam peanuts. The interior seems to measure exactly 24.5" by 4.25" by 5".I'm hoping the bag will take the 27" collapsed length* of U-212D I ordered, by pushing each end out of 'dead flat' relaxed position by 1.25". If it does fit, then it will be pushing it to the max.* I originally though the 'shortest' length (24.8") meant 'collapsed' length (27") for the U-212D. Question:	How strong is internal shell and does it keep it's shape
Answer:	Yes, it's strong and keeps it's shape due to the structure of the bag. I've drug it all over the country and it's still in good shape. The bag has been a great investment and I find it very reasonably priced compared to others I looked which were 2x as much. The handle is a great height too. The only negative thing I can say is I really don't understand how the rain cover is to work, but luckily the bag is really water resistant.

Question:	What are the interior dimensions
Answer:	The interior dimensions are pretty much the same as the outside dimensions. There are two interior fixed compartments that run about 3/4 the full length of the case. These fixed compartments are fairly padded. There is no padding for the full case, just for these two fixed compartments. I use the case for a 34 inch long slider...legs & motor all attached. What the case could use is a solid base like masonite or 1/4 inch plywood. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I cannot compare the two bags but I am very happy with this one for MY purpose which is to protect my pool sticks in flight baggage - just the right size for a stick case.

Answer:	I don't know what a c stand is. I have a tripod with a gimble head attached that is 35 inches long and 10 inches wide and it fits beautifully in the the carrying case and there is just enough padding and the handles open up so you can carry the case on your back like a back pack. I am really thrilled and it was only 15 or 16 bucks.
Question:	Is there an interior pocket? I see that one view shows pockets but the other one does not
Answer:	There are two interior pockets that run about two-thirds the length of the bag. My two light stands slide into these pockets very nicely such that they don't rub together and avoid getting scratched. Hope this helps!

How to transform to monopod and add macro center column:

1.Detach one leg which has sign on it using the rotary lock on the top.
