Question:	Is it possible to get just the strap parts
Answer:	It mounts from underneath. The static jaw is screwed to the side of the bench while the sheath covering the closing screw mechanism has holes for screwing lag bolts in from underneath. Depending on your bench configuration you may need some additional blocking to mount the underneath part. It's a very good vise.
Question:	Is it possible to ship to New Zealand
Answer:	This is a strong, high quality vise. My guess...if your bench can take the weight, this vise will too.
Question:	If i have a half inch leather strap will these fit okay
Answer:	Hey Bob. The Wilton vise will sit flush with tops up to 3 inches thick. Mine is 2 1/4" so it required a 3/4" shim between the top and the vise. This vise is expensive but worth every penny. It works flawlessly and the quick release feature is the best I've seen. You will have to make some jaw liners but you are a woodworker after all. Piece of cake.
Question:	Where is it made
Answer:	I am now handicapped and cannot, at this moment, measure the depth of this vise. I do know, without looking, however, that it is much deeper than 10". You have my sympathy because this is an outstanding vise in every way. I had no place on my bench that would accommodate any vise. So, I improvised. I bought a solid core door, 80" x 30" and attached it to the top of my undersized bench. It will now hold my Wilton vise and other things, too. I hope that this helps you. God bless you.

Question:	How long is the loop
Answer:	I’m not sure, but I thought I’d ad they are rated to 200lbs and they work great. I use them on Nikon 400mm f2.8 VRII with strap, combined with D4s and monopod I’m sometimes slinging 18lbs over my shoulder. So I have complete trust in these and I highly recommend them. There is no better option and being able to use them with any strap is really nice. Also customer service is fantastic!

Answer:	I don't have it in front of me but it is pretty long. Maybe 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch. Longer than I would have liked but it does the job.

Answer:	The strap is very steady and great build so I think it works for a DSLR as well but I would recommend you consider to buy a Peak Design Slide Strap SL-1 for a medium size DSLR such as D7500 .... or canon 7D... or SL-2 for a bigger camera like full frame. I use this strap for my sony A7R and It looks very nice and very comfortable. The best strap I have ever used so far!

Question:	Anyone know what that red leather strap is
Answer:	I think you are asking how much weight it can handle? Peak Design web site says the Anchor Link System is rated to 200+ pounds. Obviously you wouldn't lift that much weight. I have a Nikon 200-500mm lens that weights 5 pounds and 2 pounds for the camera, for a total of 7 pounds. The strap feels comfortable with that camera + lens weight.

Answer:	I am approx. 6 ft.. when I have the strap at it's approx full length, I can walk with my nikon d7200 at loc of back right pocket. Can comfortably walk. Have not done any long hikes.

Answer:	Some cameras have slots on the side where you attach your camera strap. Some have loops. The 2 rings are to attach to the camera rings and the pads are to be placed between the rings and the camera to prevent scratching the camera. Do not use them if you have a slot on your camera.
Question:	Does this strap have a smooth and grippy side like the slidelite strap
Answer:	I'm not sure, but it's sturdy enough for me to feel confident with them holding my twin lens reflex camera from the 50's.

Question:	is there rubber under the shoulder pad to keep it from slipping
Answer:	I have two Leash straps and after adjustment they stay put. I have a Peak Design Slide Lite and two Leash straps. None of these straps has slid out of adjustment, even with heavy camera and lens combinations. In fact, I can forcefully pull on the ends of the straps and they do not budge. If you continue having trouble I suggest you contact Peak Design directly as I'm sure they'd be very interested to know if one of their products were failing!
Question:	how big is the metal plate? (dimensions
Answer:	Unfortunately you can’t tell from looking at this listing. However it doesn’t really matter as the last generation anchors are already very strong. I use both versions with NO problems. Use them with a conventional steel split ring to attach to your camera lugs to prevent the Peak Design anchor cords from premature fraying.
Question:	Will this fit canon 5d mark lll. And is strong enough to support camera and large zoom lens
Answer:	Due to the volume of product sent in to Amazon since the switch over from V3 anchors, the inventory in Amazon SHOULD all contain the V4 anchors. However, as neither our 3rd Party Warehouse, nor Amazon FBA warehouses implement a strict "First in First Out" rotation of inventory, it is possible, but highly unlikely, that these units will contain V3 anchors. Question:	How easy is it to open the quick release? I'd be concerned that it might open accidentally and allow the camera to fall
Answer:	No rubber. It's sort-of a velvety-like material on mine. The weight of the camera and wearing it across the body such as from your left shoulder to the right side should work great. I haven't noticed any slippage and do like the zipper compartment in padded area. I've used mine about 6 times so far and am quite pleased.
Question:	What is size of the quick plate ? can this plate adapt to the tripod directly
Answer:	1.5 X 2.75 inches at its widest point. not quite a rectangle but fits nicely under the base of most SLRs.
Question:	is the screw of this quick release strap standard ? does it work with Panasonic G7's thread
Answer:	The rapidfire screws into your tri-pod threaded hole . If you screw it in really tight it feels really secured and the bracket is heavy metal.I really trust it so far. I use a 55-300 lens and a 500 mirror on it for that is all I have for large lens.
Question:	Is the quick plate that attaches to the bottom of the camera supposed to swivel when fully tightened? Mine does a 360 degree swivel
Answer:	The strap has a small clip that can be moved down toward the camera to hold it in place while you aren't using it, which helps keep it from "flopping". It's a quick one-hand motion to release it, so I do like to use that if I'm going to be walking a while and not using the camera. I don't particularly like the shoulder pad. It doesn't stay still and is too bulky. I'd probably prefer if it *didn't* have the pockets and padding and have considered cutting it off and making my own modified pad with different materials. Ultimately, it is comfortable though, just awkward when it moves around. I usually have a sling backpack on as well though when I use the strap, so perhaps its the way I'm using it that makes it awkward.

Answer:	This quick release plate is about 1.8x2.4 inch and it can be attached to the tripod directly without removal.

Answer:	This quick release plate has a standard 1/4" screw , if the thread of your camera is 1/4" ,that will be fit

Question:	How do you remove the anchors
Answer:	No problem. I don't think there's a better option overall. I've worn it all day when my t-shirts get those salt stains, and smell of sweat - never noticed any problem with this strap (and I've had these Op/Techs for more than 30 years) One thing I did for a wrist rest pad I have for my computer is I sewed a sleeve out of cotton fabric (just use an old shirt) . When that gets soiled I pop it in the washing machine with my laundry. It's easy to make, or get someone with a sewing machine to make. For this camera strap I'd add a button on each end so you can close it off at each end to keep it from sliding off the padded part. Also you can just rinse or wash the padded part on hot sweaty days. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is this compatible with the peak design clips
Answer:	I can't say that is the MOST suitable for your needs but I find the strap to be comfortable over extended periods over the OEM straps that come with cameras. The things I like about the strap are: the cushioning of the neoprene and the modular nature of the Uni-Loops (you can remove the strap completely, switch to a wrist or sling strap, or use a pack strap adapteer using the same connectors). I chose this version over the same strap with the pro-loop connectors because I thought the shorter connectors would make it easier to change configurations.

Answer:	I've had some of my OP/Tech straps for over 30 years, and the original strap clasps and neoprene are still working well. They're beat up, but perfectly functional.

Answer:	Yes. Put your thumb on the round disk ( by the little loops) push down and slide up ( away from the little loops) The little loops go through the the little bars on either side of your camera. So if you want to remove the main neck strap ( because you’re going to use a tripod or something) that button release is a quick way to release the strap.

Answer:	Yes!
Question:	What is the width of the strap? anyone tried it on a nikon dslr
Answer:	I don't own that camera (sadly!!) but I can't imagine why it wouldn't hold your wonderful camera. It works just fine with my Nikon D5600 with an 18-300mm zoom.

Answer:	I have identical straps (except for color) on Nikon D200, D7200 and D600. That should settle that question. LOL

Answer:	Too long, too stretchy. This was poorly made and didn't last, not to mention too springy. Went back to my old Canon strap. I do not recommend this item at all.
