Answer:	If you want to have two microphones in use at the same time then you will need two receivers. If you only have one audio input on your camera then you will need some form of interface box (sound board or mixer) that will accept audio from both microphones and combine the different channels of audio into a single output to send the combined signal to the camera.When setting up wireless microphone systems each microphone that will be in use will need a dedicated receiver (ie: one microphone to one receiver). Both the microphone and the receiver must be on the same frequency in order to interact with each other. It is not possible for two microphones to be sending a signal to a single receiver at the same time.If the two microphones were set two different frequencies they cannot both be picked up by the same receiver as a receiver can only be tuned to one frequency at a time hence the receiver will only pick up signals that are on the frequency that it is tuned to.If two microphones are used on the same frequency at the same time then they will interfere with each other because the receiver cannot distinguish between different signals and cannot separate them out into separate signals. In a situation like this neither signal will come through correctly. A good way to visualize this is to think of the microphone transmitters as two different radio stations and your car radio as a receiver. You can only listen to one radio station at a time because the radio can only be tuned into one station at a time. You can also have only one station broadcasting on each frequency or neither gets through clearly. Answer:	I originally bought the single-mic set as it was the only one I found searching Amazon. Later, on the PDW website I saw mention of the 2-mic "interview" set and found on Amazon it was priced exactly the same ($39.99 as of Aug 2020). Why buy one when you can have two, I thought, so I ordered the 2 mic set. I tested the 2-set mics with the same positioning on me, same location in the house, same speech (Shakespeare Richard III) in order to compare (cut me slack, I don't have any gear for a true scientific test). The recordings sounded identical to me so I deduce it is in fact the same mic in both 1-set and 2-set. Thanks to Amazon I'm returning the 1-set & keeping the 2-set. PDW should think more about their pricing - if they can truly afford to sell 2 at this price & make a fair profit, they should eat the other maker's lunch by cutting the 1-set price. These are marvelous little mics.

Answer:	You can plug a headphone into it and listen to your mobile device. You cannot hear when you are recording with the mic, to check sound levels, you have to play it back when you are done recording.

Answer:	I'm not certain, I have a "7" and it works fine on my iPhone. The specific detail is the distance between the insert that goes into the headphone opening...does the 8+ have a headphone jack? If so it will likely work.
Question:	I have a samsung galaxy s8 and i like to video loud live concerts. will this microphone get me better audio results in loud situations
Answer:	My guess is without being able to control the gain (lowering the input level) you will likely get clipping. You need a way to monitor the levels and lower if necessary. It is though all relevant to the volume levels at the concerts and how close you are to the speaker.
Question:	Will this work on my iphone 6 with the lifeproof case? this case needs an adapter to plug in the headphones so can't mount to case. please help
Answer:	Get a smartphone holder mount (looks like a selfie stick holder that holds the phone) and glue a cold shoe mount to it, then you will able to attach the mic to your phone... I'm not sure about your adapter headphone problem

Answer:	The microphone is a dual mono microphone and thus not stereo, unless you get into the very expensive stereo microphones I think you'll be pleased with the frequency response and quality. Once plugged in, the on-board microphone is cancelled out.
Question:	Can you attach this to a boom pole
Answer:	I believe rode sells a boom pole for this mic. You will need an extension cable as well to plug it in.

Answer:	Yes it does I have the rode mic pro lyre version and it works perfectly I will say if you can afford the pro get it it cause this relies on the power of the camera so the sound isn't as good as the pro

Answer:	Best qualities of the Videomic Go: Small, no battery (powered from the camera), easy to transport. Best qualities of the Rode Videomic over the Videomic Go: Battery powered (better range), high pass filter, PAD switch (for reducing sensitivity on louder recordings). Not having a battery can be nice (using the GO), but the camera you use has to be able to power over the 1/8" mic input. The high pass filter and PAD switch are nice on the Videomic, but not always necessary. If you don't think you'll need them, then the Videomic GO is the way to go.

Answer:	Any mic with a 1/8" connector should work.
Question:	Is there a headset port? I see on the images that on the top of the receiver there's a hole for a jack? The audio out seems to be on the side
Answer:	Only one transmitter at a time can interact with the receiver. When you power on a transmitter it will automatically connect the receiver. When you want to switch mics power off the first transmitter and it will disconnect. Them power on the second transmitter and it will automatically connect.
Question:	Has anyone successfully used a different microphone with this system? is there an adapter for xlr that was worked
Answer:	A TRS is a stereo connector (TS is Mono) so it would transmit in stereo. I send the signal into a mixer which I can separate into mono or stereo recordings, but if it goes directly to camera it shows as a stereo signal. Hope that is what you are asking...
Question:	Can you connect two transmitters to one receiver if they are on the same frequency
Answer:	Yes, the mount is very fragile. Mine broke twice, used it maybe 5 times. Gave up after the second break. It’s an excellent mic, but you need to apply some extra support to that hot shoe if you get one.
