Answer:	Hello! This adaptor is made for Sony e mount to canon EF! Yes if your a6000 is an "e" mount you can mount it to the camera. I have used this on my A7R with my canon 24-70 & my 70-200 with decent results with my 50 1.4 & 85 1.8. However I did notice all the auto focus on the lenses did lock on the focus point after a few milli seconds not instantaneously! I mounted an "e" mount lens directly to camera and auto focus is lightning fast! That's a little disappointing to someone who does birds or fast moving objects. You will miss a shot or two. Now if you're doing still shots it won't matter much. Photos are still sharp. That's the only give & take I see.If you can live with that this adaptor will droaden the lenses you can use within reason. Or just simply stick to using "e" mount lenses or those that mount directly to the camera. Tim
