Answer:	If you have a basic try-pod, and your Nikon has the standard screw hole port on the front middle. It may have a protective cover screwed into the hole and should unscrew easily exposing the screw port. The only unknown is what thread type your Nikon has. Most of this type are standard. This bracket is very simple meaning, it's only purpose is to hold the binoculars ridgidly. It is very strong and bent properly. I purchased mine last year and I use it a lot. If for some reason your Nikon wouldn't work with it, I am sure someone you know would be able to use it and you loose out in nothing. But I believe it will work for your Nikon just fine.

Answer:	I'm not sure what an sm7b mic is. I use mine with a claw that holds an iPhone or an iPad. If you're going to use it with a mic, you're going to have to attach the mic holder to it. The arm doesn't already have any kind of holder on it. It's just a pole.
