Answer:	The wand with attachment is about 3 feet and the hose can be expanded another 6 to 8 feet. We have no problem using the hose attachment to clean furniture, stairs (up to 6 steps without moving) and ceilings.

Answer:	Check the spray bars on them... Sometimes they get a salt build up and they will get a little noisy... I use a toothpick to clean away the salt build up... Other than that I have never had a problem with them being noisy... I have 3 of the emperor 400's on my 100 gallon tank... It is set up on my salt water tank and it's crystal clear... These are awesome filters and the spray bars keep from having to have air pumps to pump oxygen into the tank... Easy to maintain...if it's not the spray bars making the noise then it's probably the impellar not being seated properly.... I hope this helps you out.... never had any problems with and would highly recommend these filters to anyone wanting a easy to maintain pump/ filter....

A LED bulb can be used, but you will need to know the type of base it takes it order to purchase the right type of LED bulb. When purchasing LED bulbs the type of base and the lumens you want is more relevant than the wattage.I no longer have the instructions that came with the fixture so I unfortunately can't advise what type of LED bulb to look out for. The bulb is fairly easy to replace, but goes easier w/ a second pair of hands once the fixture is installed.

Answer:	This fixture takes standard light bulbs. We have used several different types - incandescent, CFL, Edison - all with the E26 base. Currently we have 60 watt squirrel cage Edison bulbs in them.

Answer:	In order to use this filter for a turtle aquarium, your water level must stay ABOVE the minimum water level line at all times, which means it needs to be within 3-4 inches of the top of the tank. This is a problem with most turtle tanks unless you have a Turtle Topper. Otherwise, it will work well for a turtle tank.
Question:	Could you add a sponge filter to the intake so it becomes Fry friendly
Answer:	Yes, you sure could! You could use sponge media or filter floss. Just be sure to clean or replace it whenever it becomes clogged.

Answer:	Your initial purchase of the filter includes the Whisper Bio Bags ( 1 of them for the models 20, 30 and 45, 2 for the 70) and the Bio Scrubbers (again, 1 for the 20, 30, 45 models and 2 for the 70). You should replace your cartridges on a monthly basis, but can rinse them in between changes. The Bio Scrubbers should literally last forever, unless you lose them or damage them somehow. Wash these off in a bucket of tank water with a toothbrush.
