Answer:	I find it very smooth... it's a little stiff which I like because I don't want it to jerk around during use. The only problem I've had is the lack of a users manual... I've had to guess on things like how to extend and level the legs etc. It took me 5 days to figure out how to attach my camera (I freely admit that I should have figured it out sooner!). Don't depend on their customer service to respond quickly... they are very nice, but slow on following up on their promises. Overall, it's an excellent tripod. Well worth the price.

Answer:	It should, with no problem. It's a great tripod. Lots of uses. Very dependable.

Answer:	I'm not sure how to answer that, as I do not know what kind of mount your camera uses. It works on my telescope, my night vision scope, my Sony DSC-W800 camera and my binoculars. All the things I use it with came equipped with the same size attachment with no need for any special treatment. Most equipment these days comes with a standard size mount, so I hope this helps you.
