It does have a low and high setting and depending on the attachment you use, will vary the air flow that comes out. But you should probably never directly blast something without it being secured in some way just to avoid any kind of accidental damage.

Leave your PC plugged in so that your case is grounded while it's open. When blowing, don't try to spin the fans ridiculously fast; their bearings aren't meant to take the speed, nor can they take the lateral force if you blow sideways from up close. You are blowing out dust, not sandblasting, so direct a stream from about 18 inches away. I like to "pulse" the air stream, same as I did with canned air. But instead of pressing a trigger on and off, I move the blower back and forth. If you are concerned about dust that is sticking to fan blades, use a damp cotton swab (there are special long-sticked ones made just for electronics) to gently "brush" the buildup off; this is tedious work, but it's safe and effective. Of course, you probably can't get into your power supply fan with this method.

Answer:	It's slightly slanted. In my unit, the hole's diameter is 1/8th of an inch (3mm). This is the absolute, forward-facing tip. From there, it has a rounded edge 1/16in (1.5mm) deep, where the diameter increases to 1/4in (6mm). From there, the diameter tapers out to 7/16th in (11mm) for the rest of the nozzle.

Answer:	I have not seen the Giotto air blower, but this blower appears NOT to have a filter on the intake hole. It does produce a good quantity of air, and I understand your concern.
Question:	Is this a manual hand pump
Answer:	Yes, ilia a manual hand pump. Honestly, you don't want anything with high pressure if you are going to use it to blow dust off the image sensor of your camera. I held the camera with the image sensor facing down and the pump below to dislodge any dust. That said, I also bought those wipes to gently swab the surface and remove anything not dislodged. I completely removed any lint from the cover plate (and my photos).
