Answer:	The snaps are not all together that strong. So letting it hang down runs the risk of it getting knocked off. It is made it is not soft leather and doesn't flop over and hang down, but because it is stiff leather, tends to get in the way of either the lens or the view panel. It is small, so I usually unsnap it and put it in my pocket if I am planning to use the camera. Not perfect, but better than nothing for camera storage.

Answer:	Physically yes. But be aware that doing so does not increase the total power available through that specific outlet. Building codes allow up to about 10 outlets on one circuit (I can only guess the code was written with folks prayed more often)... which typically has a 15 or 20 Amp breaker in your panel. So if all outlets are in use the amount of power available per outlet is about 1 or 2 amps. If you then plug two of these into that outlet you now have 6 receptacles supported by only that same 1-2 Amps or about 1/3 Amp each. If the room is a bedroom, then not much to worry, but if it is in your media room where you have lots of stuff plugged in, not going to work very well for you. For any area with a concentration of electrical consumption, I would recommend having one or two new circuits put in with each on a separate fulll size 20 Amp breakers, use 12-2 ROMEX with ground, and use the hospital grade receptacles (just look for the ones at the home store that are about $3 more than the cheap ones) and unbreakable nylon covers. That will achieve what you may be striving for and do it safely ...at a bit higher cost.

Answer:	I use a multi port hub that is USB-C coming out of my laptop then plug this monitor into one of the hub ports

Answer:	All power for this device comes from the TOP outlet of your receptacle -- so if that is switched then all outlets on this device will be switched (or if your bottom outlet is switched then all outlets on this device will NOT be switched).
Question:	What are the actual dimensions of this unit
Answer:	My outlets are flush with the cover plate surface. Both the outlet and cover plate surfaces stand proud of the wall surface about 3/16". After I remove the center screw from the cover plate , install the new wall plug adapter into the original plug [with or without the original wall plate] the new wall plug adapter does not contact the wall surface. It is about 1/8" to 3/16" gap between the wall and the rim of the new wall plug adapter. I don't like this because the result is a wiggly assembly, does not feel solid or secure even though it is firmly screwed into the old, pre-existing outlet. It the new wall plug adapter had a deeper recess on the back [wall] side it would not have this gap and would feel much more secure.

But, Here's what I think off the top of my head: an 18 Ft. cable should extend 3 to 5 times from it's retracted position. So, I'm thinking that a retracted 18 Ft. cable should be about 4 - 4.5 feet in it's shortened length!!! Now, I could be totally wrong, and that's OK; but the only way to find out is to purchase the cable and measure it on your own. If it's not the size you need, purchase another one!!! That all I got!!! I hope it helped you!!!

Answer:	Yes. There are various delays you can set via the "programming codes" listed in the manual. I know you can set an "alarming" delay (basically an entry delay). As for the other respondent that returned it because you can disarm without a code, that's the default behavior but can be changed using another "programming code" in the manual. Admittedly, the manual is not easy at all to understand but after a bit of tinkering, it looks to work like most other alarms except only requires $5/month text only service vs. $15-30 service to get notified about alarms. It was the only option that used 12v, GSM, and very little power and therefore I plan to utilize on my RV off of 12v battery power to protect it while stored.

Answer:	This item is a power strip, not a surge protector. Only a surge protector has a joule rating. The power strip is used only to power items, it does not offer surge protection.

Answer:	It should work but you may need to install drivers that AOC provides. The biggest requirement for this monitor is to have a device that supports either thunderbolt 3 or a USB-C with display port. There are many laptops out there that have USB-C that does not support the use of displays. Luckily for you the MacBook Pro 2018 will be just fine. Just make sure you have the drivers handy in case you have any problems.
