Answer:	It wont charge that fast if your getting the 2amp verision with two 1 amp ports each..Get the 3.1 amp version. With the 3.1 version using the 2.1 amp port it managed to charge my ipad at the same rate as my household 2 amp ipad dock. I believe a galaxy tablet will charge around at the same rate. Considering they should have similar battery sizes.
