Answer:	I looked on the device. I looked on the box. I looked in the user manual. I found no reference to UL. You are concerned with irrelevant information. I buy APC surge protection devices because I want the best. I can assure you that this is a good and safe investment. The only number you should be concerned with is the joules protection. Don't get less than 1400 joules protection. I don't even have the unit that you referred to. Mine is PE76. So it is good that you asked me. Don't get the PE63 because it apparently has only 540 joules protection. APC is good if you are a careful shopper.

Answer:	The clamping voltage certified and stamped on the unit is 500v not the advertised 330v. I am not an expert, but in my opinion, it is unlikely to protect you from the first surge or any subsequent surges. I don't recommend this unit.

Answer:	If you have experienced a lighting strike, the MOVs (metal oxide varistors) that dissipate the energy have been stressed. They may not handle the next strike very well and damage the important equipment you plug into this. It is best to purchase a new one so that it will work properly for the next lighting strike. If this is a common occurrence at your home, you should look into lighting arrestors and better ground for your electrical connection to the power grid. I would not trust the protection light (Green) if you are smelling any sort of burnt wire smell. The likelihood of a fire hazard is increased - if wire insulation has melted due to heat from the lighting strike. If I remember correctly, MOVs usually fail to an open state but I would not bet on it without testing. It is cheap insurance to throw this out and replace it with new.

Answer:	You should be able to, as long as you don't exceed 1800 watts (That is assuming you have a max load on your outlet of 15Amps at 120 Volts). It will let you know when you are starting to overload it. But I'm guessing with your PC, Router, Printer, you are going to be using less than 300 watts easily. So you should be fine. My laptop has a 200 watt power supply, and I have a 6 watt network switch, and a 16 watt printer (200 + 6 + 16 = 222 watts).

Answer:	The power strip has two metal sort of spring clips. One screws thgese clips onto the mounting surface then pushes the power strip into the clips; the strip clicks nicely into place and is held snug.
Question:	Is the 2.4a output per each usb or is that max combined? in other words what is the max output for each usb port
Answer:	The long metal strip snaps into the brackets. Without any gravity or cords putting downward pressure on the brackets, the strip will hold in place. It takes a good amount of twisting pressure to get the strip out of the bracket. Should you mount on the ceiling, I would recommend holding the strip in place when unplugging a cord from an outlet in the strip.
