The PM8500 is a professional amplifier intended to be used with much larger speakers. This amplifier provides 4000 W (500 W x 8 channels at 4 ohms) which would over power the 791 speakers. Answer:	No, there are 2 speakers in the box. The wording in confusing in the ad as it sounds like there is only one speaker in the box, but there are 2.
