Answer:	I wanted surge protection with no filtering of X10 signals. This unit had no EMI/RFI filtering in its specifications which was my preference. It does have the highest surge rating of 1500 Joules compared to competing products.

Question:	Am I hearing right that the first time there's a power surge the unit shuts down and then can't be reset so the unit no longer works
