Answer:	I don't think your audio problem would be due to the switch. HDMI bundles the audio and video signals together, if you're getting anything at all, audio or video, then the switch is working. I suggest you try making a direct connection from the source to your applet without the switch, if possible, as a test. Check your applet settings.

Answer:	ANSWER: YOU HAVE TO USE THE BUTTON.The first(1) is automatic. If you want to use the second(2) turn off whatever you have on (1). Then turn ON whatever you have on (2) and press the button the button on the switch. ..a green light will go on near #2. In each case the GRREN light should go o next to the number. The switch gets its power for the Green light when the device is on. To avoid any problem..Turn Device (1 )OFF when using DEVICE on (2 ) and vice versa (2) OFF when (1) is in use. The button on switch transfers the connection to the two Devices(e.g a VCR player and a DVD player are accessed without plugging and unpluggin when you have just one HDMI input to a TV...But you have to press the button on the switch when MAKING the switch. Hope it all makes sense.

I ended up not buying this switch because it appears that in this configuration (2 devices going to one display, such as a laptop and a Playstation both hooked up to a TV) it requires one of those devices to be providing power at all times. This means you could potentially need, for example, to have the laptop on for the switch to have the power it needs to let the Playstation display on the TV. Not ideal. For reference, see the review titled "Defective or terrible design? Either way, thumbs down.". He explains a similar situation.

Answer:	The HDMI port on your computer is an OUTPUT port, not an input port. Your monitor takes the output from your computer and displays it on the screen. The BlueRay player is an output device also like your computer. You could plug your BlueRay player directly into the monitor and view it that way. Your computer does not have an HDMI input for you to feed the BlueRay into the computer. So, if you are trying to view either the computer or the BlueRay player on the monitor, you need an HDMI switcher with at least two inputs and an output to feed the monitor, not an HDMI splitter.

Answer:	The device itself is universal as far as I know. It's just 3 HDMI ports. You may have to go to a micro or mini port on the other end if you have a small device. As far as laptops go, as long as they have an HDMI port it will work.

Trouble Shooting Guide:

1. Q: No auto switch or no signal on the output device when there’s only 1 HDMI signal source.

A: For some devices, the HDMI switch may not work when only one input device is power on due to insufficient power. In this case, please turn on two or all the three source devices to try.

2. Q: The picture in not clear on the HDMI displayer.

A: Each cable connected to this device should be standard V1.4 19Pin HDMI cables and less than 16ft(5 meters)

3. Q: There are picture and sound interference on the HDMI displayer.

A: First please make sure the connection are correct. And then check if there is any source interfere near this HDMI switch and the cables used to connect between sources(such as the power cable). You can also adjust (lower) the resolution of the input devices to enhance data transmit efficiency.

4. Q: The picture is ok but sound drops out.

A: Please turn on the HDMI audio output on the input HDMI device.

5. Q: Only got sound on the displayer.

A: Could be because compatibility issue, try lower the resolution of HDMI input sources.
