12 best ge cable splitters
GE cable splitters are electronic devices used in audio and video distribution systems to split a single signal into multiple signals. These splitters are commonly used in various applications, including cable TV, satellite TV, and other audio-video setups. Here are some key points about GE cable splitters:
Purpose: GE cable splitters are designed to take a single input signal and divide it into two or more output signals. This allows you to connect multiple devices to a single audio or video source, such as a cable box, satellite receiver, or DVD player.
Types: GE offers a range of cable splitters designed for different purposes. You can find splitters for coaxial cables, HDMI cables, and other types of audio-video connections.
Frequency Range: Cable splitters are typically designed to work within a specific frequency range. It's essential to choose a splitter that matches the frequency requirements of your audio and video equipment. For example, cable TV signals typically fall within a specific frequency range, and the splitter should be compatible with that range.
Signal Loss: One important consideration when using cable splitters is signal loss. Each time a signal is split, there is a degree of signal loss. High-quality cable splitters, like those from GE, are designed to minimize signal loss to ensure that all connected devices receive a clear and strong signal.
Installation: GE cable splitters are relatively easy to install. You connect the input cable to the splitter's input port and then connect the output cables to the splitter's output ports. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.
Compatibility: It's essential to ensure that the cable splitter you choose is compatible with your audio and video equipment. Different devices may have different connector types, so make sure the splitter matches the connectors on your devices.
Number of Outputs: GE cable splitters come in various configurations, including 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, and more, depending on how many devices you need to connect to the source signal.
Durability and Build Quality: The build quality of cable splitters can vary. GE typically offers reliable and durable products, but it's always a good idea to read customer reviews and check for any specific features that may be important for your setup.
Brand Reputation: GE is a well-known and reputable brand in the electronics and electrical equipment industry. Choosing a splitter from a trusted brand can provide confidence in the product's quality.
In summary, GE cable splitters are essential accessories for distributing audio and video signals in various home entertainment and broadcasting setups. When choosing a cable splitter, consider factors like compatibility, signal loss, and the number of outputs to ensure that it meets your specific needs.

Question: | Would this allow inserted dc on one output port for antenna amp to appear on second output port? wouldn't this be dangerous to other connected tvs |
Answer: | this RCA adapter cable Length is : 10 inches. |
Question: | Is each OUT port protected by a diode |
Answer: | doubt it since the signals are different, the signal coming out of the digital port is just that, a binary signal off or on. the red and white inputs are a constant low level electrical current. |
Question: | does it have a male end |
Answer: | Keep in mind the female/male connections. Also, this cable will be to short for your use. You only need to be consider connecting the sound bar to your television. But since you want to connect your DTV box and Blu Ray this item will not work for you unless you use adapter or converters. In other words if the input carries the signal and then splits it to 2 connectors then you can output the audio. That is what this device was meant to do or act as a way to use coaxial digital to RCA output. HDMI best audio, followed by (SPDF) digital optical, digital coxial, and RCA. I think your best bet is a 2 in 1 digital coxial switch. Then just purchase 3 digital coxial cables. Please let me know if you have any questions. I have a sick set up. 50' plasma, ps3, pc, Apple TV, Yamaha 6 CD player, Logitect squeezebox, Dish Hopper receiver that all output to dual Z5500 speakers. I use digital coxial, optical digital, HDMI cables. I have a 4X2 optical audio switcher and 4X2 HDMI switcher and use a couple other adapters so I definetly understand the need to connect multiple devices. |

IMPORTANT NOTE – Using an amplifier does not guarantee that you will receive more TV channels but it will strengthen the signal of available channels in your area. The number of channels and the reception quality you receive will vary based on distance from broadcast towers antenna position and obstacles including hills buildings and trees.
A better signal means better TV with the GE 4-Way TV Antenna Amplifier. User questions & answers
Question: | how long is the power cord |
Answer: | Hello Steve R Jones, thank you for your question. The power cord is 5ft. |
Question: | Has anyone tried using this to improve picture from an old game console (like an Atari2600 or Intellivision) that uses coax |
Answer: | Hi Mathew, thank you for your question. This amplifier is designed to only boosts signal strength to compensate for cable loss and minimizes reception dropouts. If you have any further questions, please feel free to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday at 1-800-654-8483. Thank you. |
Question: | How much does the amplifier boost the signal |
Answer: | This should NOT boost the signal. It is a DISTRIBUTION amplifier. If you use a regular splitter, then the power is divided among the outputs. If you use a 2-way passive splitter, then each TV will get half power. A 4-way passive will give you 1/4 power at each TV. The purpose of this is to take a good signal in and send four good signals out. This will NOT turn a bad signal into a good signal. |
Question: | most questions are about the antenna but, how well does the booster work - how many miles does it give, is it better than standard antenna boosters |
Answer: | How good your signal is & how many stations you get is 100% dependent on your antenna, but an excellent antenna with a long cable run can still give poor performance because most of the signal is lost in the long cable. This amplifier only has one purpose - To make up for the loss of signal in your long cable between the antenna and your TV. Buy a good antenna . . . . a BIG one if your stations are far away, mount it as high off the ground as is practical and then add this amplifier and a quality cable and you'll have the best signal quality possible for your location |
