Answer:	The mic mute button always stays lit. The color of the lite changes. The earphones should unmute, if you hit the button again. Your computer should indicate whether or not the mute is on for the earphones. It's worth noting that the buttons for the headphones work with your system sound. Some apps, such as web browser, have their own sound settings. You can fiddle with your computer to get all of these audio pieces working together.

Answer:	I had no trouble using the USB connection. It took Win 10 about 30 seconds to find it, install a driver, and good to go. I did not try using the 3.5 mm connection to my computer. It works great. You may have a defective unit. Bummer and a hassle, but that's what returns are for.

Answer:	The "Noise Reduction" feature is simply referring to the ability to turn down the volume in line. There is no noise reduction logic like with many higher quality headsets, and the mic is completely non-directional. I listened to the mic through the headset speakers using device settings in windows, and could hear quiet mouse clicks, tapping my finger on my computer, table, or chair, and key clicks. *much louder* than they actually were. Despite having a boom mic, these noises were happening on the opposite side of the hole in the boom, several feet away.

Answer:	It is 100% percent normal and desirable to hear yourself through a mic on a headset designed for phone calls (Skype, etc.) as this one is. The cheap $30 Logitech headset commonly found on Amazon (a competitor to this MPow device) has this behavior by default. I decided to try this MPow headset because the $30 Logitech headsets crap out after a few years. Anyway, imagine you are in a phone call with perfectly sealed headphones that only allow you to hear the other caller, not yourself. This is very annoying. I can hear my own voice only from whatever muffled sound can penetrate through the ear pads. This has the tendency to make me speak even louder so I can hear myself, and I end up yelling. I did try the Listen to This Device" tic box under the Windows 10 control panel for the microphone, and it resulted in unacceptable feedback, so I am still searching for the right settings to make it work.

There is no sound card in my Dell monitors (latest Model U2521D and U2421HE) as most other monitors, so I need to connect an AUX cable (provided) from the speaker to PC to have sound. But if you connect the USB from the speaker directly to the PC, there is no need to have the AUX cable. The USB cable from the speaker is short but I found an extension USB cable attached from my purchase from Dell direct.

Question:	Do these headphones come with a carrying case
Answer:	No, they don't come, but I suggest to buy a case just in case. If you don't want to, buy it without a case, those are durable headphones, but you never know if you'll need the case to carry them in a bag, back pack, carry on.
Question:	How does this compare to the ATH-M30? And how comfortable is it for extended hours of use
Answer:	I can only respond to the 2nd part of your question as I have not tried the ATH-M30, but the ATH M20X was (for me) extremely uncomfortable even after using for only a short period of time. This was due to the, IMO, excessive heat build-up which literally caused pools of sweat to collect inside the earpieces. I returned the headset after a few days.
Question:	are these good for big heads? i have trouble finding headphones that fit comfortably over my big head. also i wear glasses if that helps
Answer:	They are pretty tight on the head, and they go over the ear, so if you're wearing glasses the soft part will push on your frames. I can't wear my glasses with them because I find it too uncomfortable. It might be better to look at on ear, rather than around ear headphones.That said, I've been able to loosen the headphones a lot by bending the the metal headband. If you're not afraid to do that with $50 then you might be able to get them to a comfortable "clamp" amount, haha.
Question:	Are these noise-canceling enough to wear on a plane and not hear the plane noise
Answer:	They do NOT have electronic noise canceling. They are over the ear. The cups absorb outside sound but not enough that would be considered "noise cancelling". They're mainly for DJ's, home, and professional studio producers who use them because electronic "Noise Cancelling" tech interferes with recordings.

Question:	Can anyone please recommend a usb adapter for this to plug into a PC? Thanks
Answer:	A small, cheap usb DAC adapter probably won't work well for these. They need a bit of power to drive them properly. Power supplied solely from a PC USB port probably won't be enough (500mA max for USB 2.0 and 900mA max for USB 3.0). You will get much better results from an external audio interface and/or a headphone amp.
Question:	comfort
Answer:	They are very comfortable for the first hour or so. I sometimes wear my glasses rather than my contact lenses while using these headphones, and have found that with glasses the comfortable period is much shorter due to pressure on the wire earpieces. The The coiled cable is fairly long, and if you move around in a chair while using these with a laptop, the cable will eventually snare you. The cable connects to the left earphone, and if your earphone connector is on the right side of your computer, receiver, TV or whatever, that means the cable has to be draped across the front of your body. You could reverse the phones on your head, but that would put the left channel into your right ear and vice versa. There's probably a way to reverse channels to correct this.
Question:	How is noise leakage out of these headphones? I am interested in using them for vocal recording so mix leaking out is a no-no
Answer:	Even with loud volumes, the leakage is generally non-existent. The volume needs to be uncomfortably loud for me to start hearing a very slight sound leak.
Question:	Are these a good choice for listening to music at home? I work from home, and I need music to concentrate
Answer:	I love these headphones for listening to music as well as TV. I had a pair of MDR-V6 phones I bought from Tower Records in Nashville years and years ago in the early 90s that just died after almost 30 years of service, and these are very very similar. These don't have quite the bass that the V6s did, and the highs are a little brighter, but that will be in my best interest if they last me 20+ years like the V6s did! There's a reason the MDR7506s became an industry standard soon after they were released by Sony in 1991 and it's not because they're bad to listen to. If you want to listen to your music the way the engineers and artists probably heard it in production, grab a pair of these. Hit YouTube and watch the in-studio recordings of Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales songs and look at the headphones everybody is wearing. Everybody. Mix of both MDR-V6 and MDR7506, the MDR-V6s having been released six years earlier in 1986. All the way up to current times like the video for "Times Like These" with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Ellie Goulding and all those other artists that was released a few weeks ago had a couple of people wearing them. That's longevity. I found that they are more comfortable with the aftermarket lambskin leather earpads that you can find for around $20. They aren't super easy to put on, but are very comfortable. I love the headphones for listening to music as well as television when I don't want to keep people up at night.

Answer:	There is no difference. I believe they weren’t huge sellers so they reduced the price point.i too paid more than $200 for my white pair. That’s why I jumped on these at the reduced price. I really like them and wanted an extra pair for a backup.
Question:	Do these have a microphone for talking on phone calls
Answer:	Yes they do. I haven't taken a call but the microphone cylinder is there built into the right ear line. It is not in the rocker control. You should know that the app is a bit finicky. I am on iPhone SE (original 128GB) with iOS 14.1. Occasionally you need to relaunch app because it hangs when starting. Not always. I think you have to have headphones plugged in before launch? or after? I can't remember. But it does work fine once running. You just have to be more thoughtful with the order you run things and which other app you might have in background (I also have a Shure MV88+ I use and sometimes I forget I have that app running in background). BTW this item is discontinued by the manufacturer so app support in future might be an issue. As I said I have an older phone and I hold onto my old phones. With the discounts these are good deal. As long as they show up in the original packaging you should be good. I even consider getting a second set as backup. I haven't played with them that much so I can't review 3D sound, but sound quality for music and for enhanced hearing is great.
