Question:	Does this cause any input lag
Answer:	I use it with a 50’ HDMI cable to an outside TV with no lag at all.

Answer:	I'm happy to say there is absolutely no automatic switching. That feature does not work perfectly and is a pain. I do not want any switch to move until I manually tell it to do so. That way the switching is problem free. I would pay tripple for a switch (like this one) that has no automatic feature. It never works correctly all the time, a hassle.
Question:	Does it work with a fire stick
Answer:	I am using a fire stick and blu-ray player. 2 things how is your fire stick from your router? I moved my router because it said, You have a fair signal. You want a good or strong signal from your router cable modem with router. I also used a high quality 3 foot $ 16 HDMI cable from Home Depot. More money then the the switch. I also have a LG HD TV love this tv. I have no sound lag.
Question:	Do I need an hdmi cable for the single end or is one included
Answer:	You will definitely need 3 HDMI cables, with male connectors on all ends, to obtain full use of the Techole Bi-Directional HDMI Switcher. However, you may need to avoid inputting signals using HDMI cables with Ferrite cores. (HDMI cables with Ferrite cores have a round cylinder located just before the connectors on each end.) I use 2 Techole switchers: One splits a Roku output between my TV and receiver and the other one does the same for a Blu-ray disk player. My first HDMI input cables had Ferrite cores and the Techole switcher did not work at all; no switch light and no output signal. However, when I used non-Ferrite core HDMI cables for the input signals, the Techole worked perfectly, even with Ferrite core cables leading from the Techole switcher to the TV and receiver. As an additional precaution, I used 3 foot HDMI cables to minimize signal loss to the Techole input terminal.

Answer:	Technically with most of these switches they sense a device being powered and then make that switch location the active one. So if Google powers up chrome cast and that causes the switch to recognize that...then maybe...but I doubt it. I don’t recommend this product. It failed on me in less than a year and the manufacturer did not respond to ANY of their warranty contact methods. I have replaced it with the Kinivio switch which has been much better. Also, these switches all have trouble with “always on” devices like game systems and potentially the chromecast. This may require manual switching but the Kinivio has a nice little remote and the ability for you to turn off the auto-switching and select your desired output on the box or via the remote.

Question:	Can thus be used for my samsung soundbar and tivo box to connect to my samsung tv
Answer:	This device is used to hook multiple products up with only 1 HDMI port available. The problem is only 1 port on the hub can be used at a time. Whichever number the switch is set to that's the device that will be usable. So to answer ur question tech yes u can hook both ur sound bar and TiVo box up to the tv, unfortunately u can only use one of them at a time.
Question:	When I plug into the computer it will not turn on. Is there anything I need to do to power it on
Answer:	I get the same issue with my MacBook. Strangely enough, when I plug my Xbox into the other port and turn it on, the MacBook connection works. Sounds like a power issue to me.

Answer:	That is the same problem we are having and we have the same question. It is flickering like a power surge and our screen goes black.

Answer:	Depends on your sound bar and the way you are setting it up. If you have a sound bar with HDMI ARC in and out.... you would plug ARC in to you TV/projector and ARC out into this splittter which then could go to Roku/cable, computer, game console, etc. You then switch the splitter to decide source but it all goes through the sound bar. I have a Samsung bar that is setup like this

Answer:	The Roku Ultra is an example of an always-on device thus the Roku will not work with auto-switching. The auto-switching feature works by detecting whether an input device has been powered on or off. When it detects a device is turned on, it will switch to that input. When it is powered off, it will switch off to the next active input. Some HDMI devices stay in a stand-by mode even when you have powered them off and always maintain a connection with the switch. Answer:	Be weary of that response, I have the 450bnt which is “hdmi 2.0” compliant and it does NOT pass atmos through. Does everything else like 4K HDR 60hz. This device may still pass atmos, but just because it’s hdmi 2.0 doesn’t guarantee atmos support.

Question:	Got my 2.0 3port switch hooked up, just wondering when i turn off the tv is the switch supposed to be turned off also or will the tv turn it off
Answer:	On mine the TV does not turn it off, I don't think it matters if it's turned off or let on, my case I turn it off because I only use it when I'm using my DVD player.

Answer:	ONLY on occasian will I have the interruption of signal to the output HDMI to the TV. It hasn't occurred when manually alternate from the present input to anothe, only when the unit automatically alternates to another of the inputs because of the loss of the present one; the present one's loss due to it source device being powered off or the like. And I'm powering my unit with power coming from the input devices HDMI cables and not the USB cable connected to a device. If you are using the USB power cable try not and see if it fixes the issue; if not try using the USB power cable for power to see if it fixes it.

Answer:	In theory HDMI 2.0 should do 1440p at 144Hz, but I have not tested it with this device. The device claims to support HDMI 2.0. For context, 1440p@144Hz takes about 7% more bandwidth than 4k@60Hz.

Answer:	Yes, the HDMI switch does recognize the Amazon Firestick. I would recommend purchasing a HDMI extension cable to use with the Firestick. The reason I make this suggestion is because due to the width of the Firestick, when you plug it into the switch, it blocks a portion of the port next to it and prevents you from using that port. Connecting the HDMI extension cable to the Firestick, then plugging the extension cable into the switch will allow you to access the port next to the extension cable.

Answer:	No. By definition, Infared (IR) is line of sight only. You either need an IR receiver/repeater or a radio frequency (RF) controlled HDMI switch. Not sure that product exists

Answer:	Sure it can - I have it programed on my Harmony remote. I only rated this product 2 stars because of the problems it has with 4K UHD and 3D Sources, loosing connection frequently. And I tried two Totu HDMI switches, and both had this problem. It would also be better if you could power it off by IR, but that function does not exit.

Question:	Does not work with my firestick. video will flash lock sometimes.no sound, unplug and plug back in and you can get sound sometimes, then drops out
Answer:	I don't have a firebrick, but I did some research on the box and others had the same problem with there firestick and the box. I have a Roku and it works just fine. You want to try a HDMI extender Male to female connection, I'm thinking a direct connect with you're fire stick you the box maybe the issue.
