The switch gets its power for the Green light when the device is on. To avoid any problem..Turn Device (1 )OFF when using DEVICE on (2 ) and vice versa (2) OFF when (1) is in use. The button on switch transfers the connection to the two Devices(e.g a VCR player and a DVD player are accessed without plugging and unpluggin when you have just one HDMI input to a TV...But you have to press the button on the switch when MAKING the switch. I ended up not buying this switch because it appears that in this configuration (2 devices going to one display, such as a laptop and a Playstation both hooked up to a TV) it requires one of those devices to be providing power at all times. This means you could potentially need, for example, to have the laptop on for the switch to have the power it needs to let the Playstation display on the TV. Not ideal. | Answer: | Might be one (or more) of your HDMI cables. Make sure they are the proper standard supporting 4k (HDMI rev 1.4 or greater) which will be printed along the length of the cable. Many rev 1.3 cables will still work, but not guaranteed as part of the 1.3 standard. |

Note:
1.The length of HDMI cable for input or output should be less than 15 Meters to avoid signal loss during the transmission.
2.If Your HDMI Device (like XBox one x, PS4 Pro) supports 4K, please use HDMI 2.0 cables to connect, since HDMI cable 1.4 (or below HDMI 1.4) isn't enough to support the resolution of 4K.
Troubleshooting:
* If the resolution of your input source (like computer/ laptop) is higher than the resolution of output screens, it won't display normally.
For example, your computer is 1080P, but both 2 TVs are 720P, then the displays will not show up. In this situation, you need to set the resolution of computer to a minimum, until the
TVs have images, then slowly increase the resolution of the computer until the images on the two TVs are clear.
* If the resolution of your output devices have different resolutions, it won't work.
For example, your laptop is 1080p, one tv is 1080p, the other is 4K. Then you need to keep same resolution on 2 tvs, that's to say, your 4K tv need be adjusted to 1080P.
