Question:	Does not work with my firestick. video will flash lock sometimes.no sound, unplug and plug back in and you can get sound sometimes, then drops out
Answer:	I don't have a firebrick, but I did some research on the box and others had the same problem with there firestick and the box. I have a Roku and it works just fine. You want to try a HDMI extender Male to female connection, I'm thinking a direct connect with you're fire stick you the box maybe the issue.

Answer:	Technically with most of these switches they sense a device being powered and then make that switch location the active one. So if Google powers up chrome cast and that causes the switch to recognize that...then maybe...but I doubt it. I don’t recommend this product. It failed on me in less than a year and the manufacturer did not respond to ANY of their warranty contact methods. I have replaced it with the Kinivio switch which has been much better. Also, these switches all have trouble with “always on” devices like game systems and potentially the chromecast. This may require manual switching but the Kinivio has a nice little remote and the ability for you to turn off the auto-switching and select your desired output on the box or via the remote.

Question:	Can thus be used for my samsung soundbar and tivo box to connect to my samsung tv
Answer:	This device is used to hook multiple products up with only 1 HDMI port available. The problem is only 1 port on the hub can be used at a time. Whichever number the switch is set to that's the device that will be usable. So to answer ur question tech yes u can hook both ur sound bar and TiVo box up to the tv, unfortunately u can only use one of them at a time.
Question:	When I plug into the computer it will not turn on. Is there anything I need to do to power it on
Answer:	I get the same issue with my MacBook. Strangely enough, when I plug my Xbox into the other port and turn it on, the MacBook connection works. Sounds like a power issue to me.
Question:	Why does my fire tv flick back and forth between a black screen when hooked up through this device
Answer:	That is the same problem we are having and we have the same question. It is flickering like a power surge and our screen goes black.
Question:	Will this work to hook up a roku stick and a surround sound bar to one channel on the tv
Answer:	Depends on your sound bar and the way you are setting it up. If you have a sound bar with HDMI ARC in and out.... you would plug ARC in to you TV/projector and ARC out into this splittter which then could go to Roku/cable, computer, game console, etc. You then switch the splitter to decide source but it all goes through the sound bar. Trouble Shooting Guide:

1. Q: No auto switch or no signal on the output device when there’s only 1 HDMI signal source.

A: For some devices, the HDMI switch may not work when only one input device is power on due to insufficient power. In this case, please turn on two or all the three source devices to try.

2. Q: The picture in not clear on the HDMI displayer.

A: Each cable connected to this device should be standard V1.4 19Pin HDMI cables and less than 16ft(5 meters)

3. Q: There are picture and sound interference on the HDMI displayer.

A: First please make sure the connection are correct. And then check if there is any source interfere near this HDMI switch and the cables used to connect between sources(such as the power cable). You can also adjust (lower) the resolution of the input devices to enhance data transmit efficiency.

4. Q: The picture is ok but sound drops out.

A: Please turn on the HDMI audio output on the input HDMI device.

5. Q: Only got sound on the displayer.

A: Could be because compatibility issue, try lower the resolution of HDMI input sources.

Answer:	In theory HDMI 2.0 should do 1440p at 144Hz, but I have not tested it with this device. The device claims to support HDMI 2.0. For context, 1440p@144Hz takes about 7% more bandwidth than 4k@60Hz.

Answer:	I don't have this specific cable box but I have a variety of sources ranging from blu-ray player to Roku to Fire HD that I connect via that switch and they all work great. If your cable box has an HDMI out, I don't see any reason for it not to work. Just keep in mind that you need the right cable if your source requires support for HDCP 2.2, HDR, etc. Not every cable can deliver.
