Answer:	If you are on a Windows machine, you'll want to download foobar2000 to use as your dedicated music player. There are many forums online which go into great detail on how to set up foobar2000 as it does appear to be quite complicated at first glance so I won't bore you with any of the specifics here; but once you get the hang of things it does get a bit easier to understand and follow the UI and the possibilities you have with foobar2000. You just have to do your research; Amazon is not the best place for this sort of thing if you ask me. I personally prefer ASIO over WASAPI; FiiO has their own proprietary ASIO driver uniquely designed for the E10K which you can download the firmware for on their website. You will also have to download and install the necessary ASIO support component which is available on foobar2000's website. If you do buy this DAC/AMP and plan on using FiiO's ASIO driver like I do, be aware that you have to close out of all applications using ASIO before disconnecting the E10K, otherwise this may result in a BSOD. They explicitly state this in the owner's manual as well. Lastly, but most importantly you will want to listen to high quality audio sources (READ: Lossless audio). I prefer FLAC encoded music files, but lossless is lossless; it doesn't really matter what codec the files are in. I won't discuss bit depths or sample rates here because that's just another can of worms, but do your best to avoid listening to lossy audio files such as MP3s; you will only be doing yourself a disservice. And of course you want to have some decent headphones :) If you fancy closed back headphones, I can strongly recommend the SRH1540s by Shure. It's what I'm using at the moment. So as you can see, there's just a little more to it than just 'plugging in the E10K and voila' ;) Happy listening!

Question:	I'm experiencing brief drop in audio output about every 15 minutes when listening to a cd on a sony ubp-x800. player is set to pcm. any idea why
Answer:	I set my DVD player & TV sound output to RAW. It didn't sound that good when I had it set on PCM. Don't know if this will fix the problem, but its worth a try.

Answer:	This is just a digital audio signal into an analog audio signal, no video.Just the speakers.

Answer:	First, there is no coax "OUT" port on this device, only coax in. The red and white RCA connections give you the left and right stereo audio signals after conversion from the optical fiber input connected to the TV. Unless you have a most unusual stereo amp, you have multiple choices on the back of the amp for RCA left and right audio connections. Using a standard audio jumper cable with the red and white RCA connectors on both ends, hook this box to an unused port ( ie Tape), select that input for the amp and you should be good.

Answer:	I bought this converter a few months ago to use for connecting an HDTV to an old analog stereo receiver for better quality audio instead of the horrible audio from the built in TV speakers. No wall socket necessary. It's purely optional.

Answer:	It's a very good photo scanner and would be more than suitable for scanning family photos, which I assume is what you want to do. It is not as good as a dedicated photo scanner, but for most purposes it would be more than adequate. It's also surprisingly fast!

Answer:	The scanner bed does open to allow a document to be placed directly onto the scanner. Or you can use the automatic document feeder. I've had my XP-820 for about two weeks,so far so good. No complaints thus far.

Answer:	I believe so, because it adds a gap between the lens and the sensor. For example I was photographing the moon the other night. This would usually mean just setting the focus to infinity and going for it. However, with the adapter on, the moon was in focus some way back from the infinity point on the focusing ring, indicating that infinity has moved further away, so to speak. Hope this helps. :-)

If you do it too early, it will eject the paper from the front and wait for you to do it again. I printed on magnet sheets and on thicker cardboard this way, and it worked fine. Make sure your magnet sheets are really flat and not warped or the raised parts can get stained!
