I did not try wobbling the ram in its fully extended position, but I did not notice any instability at all. There was an engine leveler on the hook and a second small chain hoist attached to the hook and transmission to guide the assembly into the truck. | Answer: | If you mean can you a wire a female plug to another female plug to have an extension cord with only female ends? The answer is a big YES. Since you will be the person doing the connections it is as easy as using a small tip screw driver the kind used for electronics or eye glasses. I used thin gauge speaker wire about 20 or 22 gauge. Can’t remeber and the plugs both male and female are not solder type but screw type connectors. I used my plugs to run 12 volt exterior wire to power security cameras around my home. The transformers were in the house and I ran basically an extension cord with plug ends to the exterior mounted cameras. No problem for over 3 years now and the only problem was a year long battle with the HOA and their arbitrary rules about the external look of the house! (They we’re finally approved and 2 months later I received a notice of violation for non-approved cameras. Yes they did not check their own files for the Board approval!) . The plugs have held up very well and the are great and easy to use. |
