Answer:	It works great with coarse salt, but I don't know what adding kelp to the mixture would do. I suspect it would be fine, but as I don't use kelp, I don't know for sure.

Answer:	Records fit fine in the sleeve but the round part of the sleeves don't go inside the album cover as easy as the square ones do. I used these once and went back to the square ones. Fit a lot better.

Answer:	Yes, it's poorly been manufactured. I have TWO yes 2 of them sitting in my living room. The way it's designed (to turn that screw) will move the whole assembly of where the arm lies, therefore causing it to "become unbalanced". I have had 5 records scratched because the ARM swung all the way across my album. The slightest adjustment to that screw will cause your record to play slow and or after adjustment, cause it to swing across your album. They need to fix this ASAP ! Good luck.. When I had the problem with the 1st one, I googled this item, the "CON" was that the CD gets stuck... I hadn't even gotton to the CD's yet, since I asked for a record player for Christmas. My son purchased this for me, they resent a 2nd one. and it's defective.

Question:	Can you plug this into a large stereo receiver to use some better speakers
Answer:	Yes, I just hooked this up to my Kenwood receiver and it sounds fantastic. Do not hook this up to the Phono input on your receiver as it will overload the pre-amp and it will sound absolutely terrible. That is more for a higher end record player. I recommend hooking up to the auxiliary inputs on your receiver if you have them. If you do not have auxiliary inputs then try any other input other then phono. I have my player hooked to the "tape" inputs. I am playing Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and it sounds better then any CD I own, by far.

Answer:	What you want to do is utilize the wall mount and do not tighten for the "Pinch." The Record album should just rest in between the two mounts to avoid any pressure on the album itself.
Question:	Would this work for CDs as well? I have a large Japanese CD collection I am wanting to display

Answer:	Good afternoon! There are 2 holes on the back of the display like picture frames and other hanging products. You can use a nail, screw or other wall mounting hardware that fits into the holes. Let me know if you need anything else.
